"I checked into the hotel at 4:15 pm and my room was not ready. I never received a message that my room was ready. I went back to reception at 5:20pm and there was the longest line and I asked one of the employees if I needed to wait on that huge line to get my key, and she answered YES! She did suggest to speak to the Manager which I did…I still thought it was strange that I had to go so far as to speak to the manager just to get my key when I had already checked in. The Manager was sweet, but I had to explain why I was skipping the line and she almost did deny me, not until I said I have not received a message about the room and when she checked, it did say it was ready. I ended up getting the room at 5:40 pm. I did love the shuttle service to the airport the hotel provides, definitely great location if one has an early flight from San Diego. For Beer lovers, there is a Brewery in the premises, thought it was cool. "

"Fabulous resort that didn’t disappoint. With its historical athmosphere it calls for a return visit. Even if the final line in Some Like it Hot is ”Nobody is perfect”, this comes really close."

"no service. bed linen not clean. pool area full of adults who were just partying, alcohol in front of the child. no respect for other guests. party in the pool all night. people partying in their room late until 03:00 am. no place for families with small children. the room is in old condition and the fan sounds bad. old bed linen and beach towels. nothing I recommend. No safe place."
