“This was such a cozy place in a great location thats very accessible to the beach, dining and Assateague! I loved being able to have my dog and he enjoyed the screen-in porch and snuggling by the firepit. ”

“Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic.”

I thought the info about the view was misleading, however. While I could see the lighthouse through a break in the trees, there was absolutely no view of the Assateague channel or way to access it as part of the experience. “We enjoyed our stay in this tiny house! Spent quiet mornings on the screened porch with coffee and a breeze off the channel. It is a tiny space but perfect for our weekend getaway and we appreciated having more space than most island hotel rooms. If you book in July it should be in walking distance of the Fireman’s Carnival.”

“We had a great time for a long weekend at the Granby house. It was just the right size for us and our two dogs. The property was clean and well stocked with necessities, towels and linens. Check in was super easy with keyless entry, and the neighborhood is nice - lots of amenities like pools, restaurants, and the Yacht Club.
