“We had a lovely, large room with a very comfortable bed, small table for breakfast, excellent coffee available just outside the lobby, and a nice balcony. The pool was lovely and there were lounge chairs and towels, as well as a shower to rinse off in before swimming. In addition, having the proximity to the Chincoteague National Refuge and easy driving to local restaurants and downtown were pluses. The Refuge Inn has a small-town, family feeling with all the amenities you could ask for.”

“Bathroom need up saying and cleaning, balcony needs updating, you get charged $20 per day for umbrella and bikes, this should be a option especially for senior guest, they call it complementary, but there is a charge, and they say it’s because you booked through a third-party in other words they don’t like it when we book from Expedia, so you get discharged for the umbrella and the cows and also for a bike, but they never tell you where to go pick it up at. I don’t see any on the resort.”

“This is our 3rd year in OC and first time in this hotel. Staff was very nice ands helpful. Property was nice. Having two pools was a selling point for us and the kids enjoyed both very much being that we came during jelly fish season. 2 issues were our door to our room was extremely hard to open and took great effort to make sure it was closed.
