“Nice place, fun with the parrots, clean and close to beach and all activities”

“This was my family's 1st time staying at this location. It was very clean, the staff was super friendly and there was plenty for my 4 year old grandson to do. He loved the indoor pool, miniature golf, arcade room, playground and even the movie theater. He selected the movie he wanted to see and we were the only ones in the theater. The staff even popped popcorn for us. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Arrived, asked for early checkin. Waited for a call for 1 1/2 hours. Walked up at 4:00 check in and the same person admitted he forgot about us. Same night, the temperature dropped and we tried to turn on the heat. Not working. Maintenance arrived and declared they couldn't do anything until morning. Turned off all air and in the morning stopped at the front desk and, once again, told someone would call. 24 Hours later, maintenance gave us a space heater. They never fixed it, but gave us a...

“I can’t say enough about the staff at the Castle in the Sand. We had to move from another unrelated hotel in the area after a very poor experience and everyone we dealt with was so helpful. ”

They were kind helpful and went above and beyond to help is get settled and salvage this family trip from disaster”

“Dresser had broken doors could not open or close . No glasses or silver ware. The ocean view sliding glass door was all fogged up. no pots , pans so you couldnt use the stove top. The Tv didnt work properly called desk and they said they would send someone up to fix it but that never happened after a few calls. Desk clerk was friendly and polite.”

“The pictures on expedia are not of the actual property. The hotel has no outdoor pool area or water recreation as depictes in the actual 3rd photo of the peoperty. The bed sheets were worn out fread and dirty. A long piece of hair with a chuck of scalp was found in the sheets. And actual fecal stains were on the wall in the bathroom. “We stayed in a beach front room. Excellent views. Room was comfortable. A/C was only a fan one night but was fixed in the morning. Fortunately, it wasn't hot outside. When we arrived, there was a used towel on the back of the bathroom door. You can tell housekeeping cut corners and wasn't thorough and we never got wash clothes unless we went to the front desk and asked. Weird. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we're comfortable. “The swimming pool facilities were satisfactory, and the accommodations were maintained in a clean condition. All rooms offer views of both the pool and the ocean. Overall, the experience was positive. I believe the property would benefit from certain renovations.”
