The Happy Place apartment was a great place to stay in central Athens. Charming apartment with all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. The rooftop terrace and its outstanding view of the Acropolis was astonishing. It really lived up to its promise which is not always the case. Our host was helpful in helping us chose good destinations outside the city. Great spot!

Eftihia was a gracious and wonderful hostess. She was always quick to respond to any questions we sent prior t our stay. And she even helped us find a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us to her flat. She met us there and showed us everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. She checked up with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was going well.

A Perfect Honeymoon Stay in Athens! My wife and I stayed at Eftihia's property for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Eftihia was hands down the best host we've ever had. Even before we arrived, she was incredibly generous with her time, staying in regular contact for a whole month before our trip. She answered all our questions with enthusiasm and provided invaluable local knowledge. Knowing it was our first trip to Athens and our honeymoon, she even went above and beyond by offering to supply wine upon our arrival. It's thoughtful gestures like these that make her such a standout host. When we arrived, she warmly offered to meet us and went so far as to take us to a local restaurant, where she shared all the best spots to visit in the city. Her recommendations were spot-on and truly enhanced our experience. As for the apartment, it was fantastic. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The highlight was the rooftop with its stunning view of the Acropolis — the perfect backdrop for a memorable honeymoon. Eftihia made our trip extra special, and we can't recommend her and her property enough. We have made a new friend! If you're headed to Athens, staying here is a must!

Great Stay

We stayed for 3 nights when we arrived in Athens. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, and stocked with coffee and tasty snacks. Convenient walk to groceries, restaurants, transit, Acropolis, and many tourist areas. Rooftop patio with view Acropolis view, but so close to restaurants with Acropolis views that we didn’t actually use the rooftop. Everything was as advertised or better. Eftihia was a wonderful host. We would stay there again.

Great stay in Athens!

It's a great spot for a short stay, close to lots of amenities and comfortable and well-appointed. Very attentive host with lots of helpful tips. We loved the rooftop of evening drinks, with the great Acropolis view lit up. Highly recommended.

Great value in a wonderful location!

The apartment was spotless and the host was great! Best of all it was located within walking distance of the Ancient Agora, the Acropolis, and the other sites we came to see. Good restaurants are nearby too! The Thissio neighborhood is not as touristy, crowded, and noisy as the Plaka, Psyrri, and other neighborhoods north and east of the Acropolis, but it’s easy to get to those areas if you want. Most highly recommended.

Loved the Happy Place!

Eftihia is the best host and her apartment was the perfect place to stay . I was there from 7/12 to 7/18/2023 with my 19 year old granddaughter . Loved location convenient to Metro and restaurants . Efthia provided us with many extras to keep us comfortable . She had quality bath products , many food items, beach bag and towels , umbrellas and parasols, books , maps and many other extras. Place was spacious , immaculate , air-conditioned, and comfortable . We appreciated that she kept in touch with us throughout our stay and also provided a contact with a taxi driver who was available to drive us to and from airport and also when we needed him while there. I highly recommend The Happy Place for anyone travelling to Athens .

Suburb Location and Hospitality

Eftihia’s apartment was the perfect home base for our trip to Greece. It was very close to the Acropolis and the origin point for all of our tours. Basically everything we wanted to do was in a 10-20 minute walking distance. The apartment size was great and everything very clean. Eftihia was a very responsive host leading up to and during the trip. She was very thorough and even helped us plan our activities and called around to try and facilitate an experience I was looking for. She was very friendly and accommodating when our trip got extended due to the airline changing things. Would definitely return to her apartment if we make it back to Athens!

Beauty in the heart of Athens

The apartment was located a short walk from the Acropolis, Monasteraki and many other archeological sites. My husband and I spent 7 days walking Athens. The most amazing view of the Acropolis was from the roof terrace. Every morning, we had our coffee and a few times even dinner gazing at the beauty that is Athens. Eftehea, the property owner, provided us with essentials treats in the kitchen and the check-in/checkout process was smooth. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to be in the center of Athens but in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely, plan to stay there again on my next visit to Greece.
