“Another enjoyable stay here. The bed is so comfy and the location is great. Easy check in and out. Quiet which was fantastic as I was working late shifts. If I need to stay in this area this will be my go to accomodation as it’s got everything you need.”

“Had everything we needed. It was clean and well presented. We were able to talk to the host with the one little query we had. The home is in a quiet location close to Australia Zoo and a large shopping centre where we could stock up. A great place to spend some time.”

“The place was adequately stocked with essentials and was comfortable. However, dishes were were very much not cleaned and some smudged / stains were on things like placemats. The place really wasn’t very clean. The bathroom is also detached from the main room which I felt wasn’t super clear from the photos. That said, it was comfortable and no major issues. Decent value compared to some other stays”

“4 bedroom house, a study, a big lounge with a patio. Plenty of space for a family. The house was spotless and has everything you need. Host was easy to deal with and was available for any questions I had. My friends and I had a great night. Thank you.”

“the accommodation needs a lot of attention. Whilst this is located centrally on the island and within walking distance to beach and pub the cleanliness of the accomodation was 4/10. For the amount of money you pay you would expect the place to be in a better condition, however, we find this with a lot of the houses on Stradbroke Island, the attention to detail is not there, big cobwebs everywhere, broken slates, missing remote controllers to air con units, sand everywhere.”

“Amazing and beautifully appointed . Could not find air-con and needed it in the middle of winter as well as an extra blanket. Also some television channels had no signal and wifi connection could not be found after many attempts … with only one bar reception available. Loathe to be picky, as this gorgeous and practical bungalow is a place in which I will endeavour to have a longer summer stay and enjoy the local attractions. ”
