“Best time ever!”

“The house is as wonderful as we hoped it would be! We loved the bright, open spaces, location, and view. The house is so well stocked with essentials and ample towels (bath, beach, kitchen). We cooked every night and had everything we needed to bake, fry, grill and more! The master bathroom is huge with a large tub and walk in closet. All of the bedrooms feel so private. We visited Buxton for the seafood and bookstore and checked out Connor’s market. Took a day trip to Ocracoke and the Wright...

“We had great stay at the Surfdancer in early August. Two families with small kids. The house is large and comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the location is wonderful - within walking distance to both the beach and the supermarket. Also a great location for exploring the more southern beaches and perfect for a day trip to Ocracoke. The host for very responsive and attentive. Thank you!”

“Great house for a family of 4. House is a little older and could use some minor improvements but nothing that would effect your stay. Great location near the Food Lion and other Avon locations, plus has access to large Vacasa pool. Fully equipped for whatever you would need. Can't go wrong with this house. ”

“This was our first time renting on the sound and we chose the perfect house! The house was clean, exactly as described and the location was perfect! We were close to restaurants, shops, and a little playground for the kids. Karen, the host, was quick to respond , she even checked in in on us on our drive down to see our eta and give instructions. She provided every ounce of instruction and recommendation you would need while staying there. Check in was easy, check out was easy. The private beach...

“Great house on the Outer Banks. We had a nice family trip. Was not very crowded which was both good and bad. I am sure in summer the place is jumping with people. Glad we had a few good restaurants open. I would go back and rent this house again with other family members. ”

“We had 4 families in the house, including 5 kids four years old and younger. This was an awesome house for us. Lots of space, lots of open common area for playing and spending time together. A very short walk to the beach access just a few houses down. We had a little beach wagon for the kids, and carried them sometimes too without too much trouble. The road we walked along was very quiet. When we couldn't get out of the house with the kids, there was a great view of the ocean from the house....

“We love this house. It is very comfortable for the two of us but will also work if we are joined by family or friends. The kitchen has everything. The new bathroom was terrific. The weather was great the entire time. We have already reserved a spot for next year. ”

“Victoria- the homeowner- is a very lovely person and easy to work with.Her property is wonderful! Easy access to the beach. Front side of house faces the ocean. You have views of the ocean between the other homes across the street. The spaces between the other homes are relatively large so it is easy to see the ocean. She has a wonderful setup with pretty much anything you could think of to do at her house, for both children and adults miniature golf, horseshoes, cornhole......Unfortunately for...

“Great house for a good price. Only problem was the router wasn't working for the first day, but it was fixed the next morning. Good communication from the property management during that issue. Community pool was nice although only accessible for the last few days of the trip because it was early in the season. Beach access is as good as possible without being directly beachfront, it's a 1 minute walk total to get to the beach. The bathrooms can occasionally be a problem but luckily the upstairs...

“Lovely cottage not far from the beach. Great central living area for the family to gather. Well stocked kitchen. Screened in porch is great for staying shaded and away from the bugs. The walk to the ocean is not far, but the very tall and steep sand dune is challenging for older and not as physically capable people. Food Lion is right down the road and there are a good number of nearby restaurants. I would stay here again if looking in the Avon area.”

“Perfect beach house. Updated interior a big plus with comfy couches for family movie night. 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Kitchen and living room well laid out. The deck overlooking bay makes for relaxing sunsets. Kitchen well stocked for cooking, with Food Lion and Sunrise Seafood Store conveniently nearby. ”
