“The girl that it was at the front desk was super nice, the cleaning ladies were the best, being Americans we like a lot of towels and they gave us all the towels that we needed. Very clean location, this is the town that I was born and as always people are very nice and will go out of their ways to make people welcome. ”

“Bella and Dave are fantastic hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable. The daily breakfast was very good and a highlight of our trip. The location is perfect. We were able to easily walk to the marina and restaurants. We can’t speak highly enough about how great of hosts and people Bella and Dave are.”

“So happy that I booked this place. It was a bit pricey compared to hotels near the marina area and main shopping/restaurant area but so worth it. The interior is beautiful and so secluded that it gave resort vibes. I had the twin room and it was like a little apartment with a huge bed, windows, clean bathroom and alot of walkable space. The amenities were lovely such as the pool and areas to sit and relax. Dinner at Musa was a great introduction to Azorean cuisine. Breakfast had a wide selection...

“Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet hébergement. Nous y sommes restés 1 semaine. Les points forts sont l'accueil de Vanessa, ses petites attentions envers ses hôtes, sa sympathie, sa disponibilité et surtout sa gentillesse. Elle est de bons conseils sur les lieux à découvrir ou les restaurants.... J'ai eu la chance d'avoir un petit présent le jour de mon anniversaire. Alors qu'elle n'avait aucune obligation. J'ai été très touchée par ce geste. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux....

“Our room was wonderful, the shared space was absolutely beautiful and the view breathtaking. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area. There are cafes, restaurants and grocery nearby. I would definitely go back.”

“We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future.”

“Wunderschöner Garten mit Blick auf die Landebahn (Flughafen stört nicht, es landen nur wenige Flieger), super Frühstück mit selbst gemachtem Joghurt, Eier von eigenen Hühnern und sehr nettem Personal. Man könnte zu Fuß von Flughafen zu Unterkunft laufen, also sehr praktisch gelegen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. ”

Hotel VIP Executive Azores

4/10 Dåligt

"Bodde på hotellet i 8 dsgar, och är inte på något vis nöjd med komforten och servicen. Hotellet håller verkligen inte måttet för ett 4 stjärnigt hotell. Fin entre och fin utsikt från rummet som låg på 7 våningen, men städningen var inte bra, rummet ganska slitet, fick mitt täcke utbytt då det fanns blodfläckar på det vilket var riktigt äckligt. Påtalade detta för receptionen som nämner att dom inte byter ut täckena mellan hyresgäster. Gymmet är slitet och maskinerna och övrig utrustning gammal och rostiga. Poolen och spa avdelningen var ok. Hotellet ligger ca 15 minuters promenad från Ponta Delgada centrum, och med tanke på priset är det inte riktigt värt det. Kommer verkligen bo där igen och kan inte heller rekommendera detta hotell lägger därför inte heller upp några bilder."
