“Handig vakantiehuisje wat beschikt over het nodige basiscomfort. Het huisje is gelegen in een zeer rustige wijk. Via een autovrij fietspad ben je in een mum van tijd aan het station en in het (commerciële) centrum van Aviemore. De heuvels van de Cairgorms zijn nooit ver weg. ”

It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 10 min walk into aviemore and 12 min drive to landmark adventure forest. The host communicted well, confirmed our booking with a personal text messge and contacted us on the day of arrival to ensure everything went smoothly. Excellent accommodation.”

“Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house”

“Stayed for a week with my dog. Brilliant location in a quiet area but easily walkable to town. Lovely trail right next to the property. Close to lots of walks and attractions. Comfy bed and had everything we needed. Simmie was really lovely and had excellent communication. Really enjoyed it! ”

"The staff were not service minded at all. We couldn’t make a dinner reservation despite the restaurant not being fully booked. The bill was given to us without us asking for it. The food was awful, it was served within 5 minutes leaving us assuming it was ready made and warmed in the microwave. We ordered two drinks in the bar and was served one half full and the other full. I would have expected the half full to at least have been topped up to a full drink or the bartender should have made a new drink. The hotel itself is stunning and so is the surrounding area so it’s a shame that service and food were so bad. "
