Tråkig attityd från personalen i receptionen, men desto trevligare vid frukosten som var mycket bra. Högljutt pga stor lokal, men i övrigt väldigt mysig med fräsch frukostbuffé.”

Tillräcklig med gratis parkering på hotellområdet. Gångavståndet till stan trodde vi var kortare, det tog en bra stund att komma ner (och tillbaka uppför backen) och rekommenderas ej för barnfamiljer - använd hellre bil... Hotellet prisas för sin fina utsikt över Cork (finns att njuta från restaurangen),...
“Fantastisk trevlig personal som såg till att hela familjen trivdes, familje rummen stora och rymliga med kingsize säng + enkel säng. Maten som serveras var av hög klass och priserna inte allt för dyra. Det enda negativa var tiderna för poolen med barn 2 timmar på morgonen och 2 timmar på eftermiddagen.”
“I was unexpectedly in Cork for one night and I stayed at this lovely hotel. It was excellent location,the friendly staff at the reception let me check in early and gave me a quiet room with a bath. really nice breakfast and restauranf. the only think was that they had a added a breakfast for two on my roomservice bill but theysorted it out with no hazzle at all. gave me good advice on what to do and see”

“This is definitely a beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly and down to earth, great welcoming when checking in.
I forgot my tablet when checking out and it was easy and convenient to pick it back up after work. They were very tentative and reached out to me quickly in this matter.
Rooms are old fashioned, but very nice and the beds are comfortable and you sleep great in them.

"Just across the street from another great hotel I visited three years ago. The Metropole hotel. I came with the bus from Dublin airport and when the bus stops at the end station it’s just a 3 minute walk to Isaacs Hotel. Hotel were quiet and a chill atmosphere. The staff very supportive and generous. "
"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they can’t do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. It’s absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath one’s back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
The Dean Cork is all “style” but no substance. "
