“Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.”

“Very easy to find. Lovely host Sarah. 2 friendly dogs, Frank n Nim. So relaxing, a small cosy Conversion which is Very clean. Pub/restaurant a short walk via the village. Other restaurants a short drive. ”

“Mistal was spotless, The surrounding area was beautiful with some wonderful dog walks.The kitchen was well equipped if we’d felt inclined to cook, but with the large number of local pubs to check out we left the cooking for another time. The whole accommodation was comfortable and our hosts were lovely giving us suggestions of cafes and pubs that were worth a visit, as well as some historical and local information. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.”

“It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The cottage was very secluded, clean and well equipped with a very detailed guide available to both the facilities and places to go in the area. Comfy bed, great shower, cosy lounge. My partner has had a stroke and walks with a stick but was able to cover the distance from...
