“Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...

“The location was just far enough away from the busy Bocas Town it made it feel like we were on our own private island. Attractive rooms with the best view and an overall inviting aura. The thing that made this an 11/10 is the food and food service. Every meal was amazing and served with a friendly smile.
The lounge chairs on the deck made it hard to leave this serine location.”
“I had a really relaxing stay at the Sea Monkey. I was in awe of the breathtaking views, and spent much of my time relaxing on the outdoor hammock enjoying the weather and location. The staff were quick in responding to requests via whats app and were super helpful! I enjoyed the little town that was accessible by foot and appreciated that this was also just a 5-10 minute boat ride to other activities. I so cannot wait until I get to come back again!”

“Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. “Travelling as a family of 4, we got a tiny room with barely any space and NO space for our clothes so we lived in our backpacks.
1st breakfast the owner tried to barter away the included breakfast although I could show proof. Considering we were maybe half of the islands total tourist population at the time one might’ve thought to appreciate us.

Den enda anledningen till att jag gav en fyra när det kommer till renlighet var för att det var lite fläckar på handdukar och lakan, men allt är rent, men man kanske behöver dubbelkolla att allt är fläckfritt innan man placerar dem i rummet.

“I have stayed here many times, and the relaxed vibe always brings me back. The grounds have one of the best sunset views. The staff is fun and attentive. We think the restaurant has some of the best food and drinks in Bocas. It easy to get a water taxi to Isla Colon or other islands. You can relax by the pool, enjoy the beautiful garden, or read a book in your over the water cabina.”

Service decent, very varied between people. On return not very impressed by the boat service back to Boca. A nice experience nut not sure I would do it again. "

Every day after lunch, half of the beach chairs were taken by other people, in addition to this, ordinary chairs from the restaurant were moved out onto the beach. It felt a bit like a hostel with lots of day guests, completely unacceptable.
One of the days I complained and asked who was responsible for the policy to be followed, unfortunately I got a vague answer that the person was somewhere.
The owner of this hotel needs to address this, I would like an answer."
