“Very nice, pretty small hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast. Great room eith a balcony overlooking the garden and pool. Both shower and bathtub, and lots of towels, bathrobe, etc. Great location with walking distance to the centre/old town as well as the park and beaches. Rovinj is a wonderful town. The only negative thing is the noise from the road at night. It's not very busy though, and not all rooms face the road. Ear plugs help. I warmly recommend this hotel.”

“We stayed in late April 2026 (two couples). The description of this property: Location, location, location!! We were in the heart of the old city--it was fantastic! Some previous travelers expressed concern about the challenge of getting their luggage up to the property. When i finally got in touch with a person to verify my booking (because i had ZERO emails/info from the place beyond my expedia confirmation) she could not be bothered. We had to find the place using google maps, and once we finally did find it had to call a number then wait for a guy in the street while he came to check us in. “Great but short stay on very nice island just off Rovinj. The All Suites part of Hotel Istra is quite new and very nice. The only drawback was the insight in the room (garden view room) from the people looking att the fantastic views from the nearby observation tower. But highly recommended anyway if you're looking for a holiday resort with beaches and swimming pools.”
