“We had a wonderful stay in the Cart Lodge cottage. Location was perfect - easily accessible from the main yet very quiet and secure with plenty of parking. Cottage had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (we cooked multiple times) and a cozy sitting room. Best feature: the sheep! Loved watching them from the window and feeding them digestive biscuits in the morning. We would definitely stay again.”

“The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning.”

“Weather was great went to visit my grandchildren who live nearby pod was great could do with a good clean on outside and decking was abit wobbly would come again good price for what it was the bed really clean toilets and showers considering how many people on site”

“If you like to live in the past for a couple of days, you couldn’t find a better place! Everything is genuine, but it’s not like a museum, it’s a living place with its own energy and heartbeat. From the garden to the rooms to the breakfast it was nothing else but a fantastic stay. Warmly recommended. ”
