“We stayed for two nights and had a very disappointing experience. The pool was dirty, our room was humid, and no breakfast was provided. There were people smoking nearby, so it definitely didn't feel family friendly.
The worst part was the service. It seems like only one person works there – all communication is done by text message. We texted the inn asking for clean towels, and they replied saying they would change the towels every day. But when we left for the day and came back in the...

“I heard about Benmiller Inn over 25 years ago and had always wanted to stay there. Unfortunately, it seems I should have visited 25 years ago. This is no longer a luxury retreat and I found many of the glowing reviews quite misleading.
Our stay got off to a poor start when the unenthusiastic front desk couldn't locate our reservation. The entrance to our building smelled strongly of chlorine from the pool and felt damp, with three dehumidifiers running in the hallway.

“The room was dated but clean. Kichenette was stocked with plates, cutlery, coffee maker and microwave. The air conditioner was not working and staff unable to fix. Sadly, during heat wave our stay was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. No resolution was offered - changing of room / discount.”
