“Mark and Christina were very helpful and friendly, answering all my questions. Beautifully presented with a sunflower theme throughout the cottage. Bed was very comfortable. Location was a bit more isolated than I realised when I booked. Kalbar was the closest place for groceries and meals about half a hour away. Very friendly people at the pub. “The Bush Retreat is in an ideal location to explore the Gold Coat, Surfers Paradise, Tambourine Mountain with biking tracks in the Hinze Dam area. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped for 4 people with ample parking. Beds are comfortable. Water pressure is good with ample hot water. It’s an ideal place to kick back and relax with a bottle of wine in a lovely tropical garden setting with a lot of bird life. We had a lovely time here and the place has huge potential. Recommend.”
