Quartz Mountain House

Remodeled, family-friendly, pet-friendly mountain cabin house within walking distance to Fort Rock park which has fantastic playgrounds, pickleball and basketball courts, and large grass field (great for dogs!). 8 SHARC passes included as well as bikes, helmets, river floats, life jackets, and a ping pong table in the garage! Private jacuzzi on the deck along with a propane Weber grill and outdoor seating. Updated kitchen fully stocked. Feel confident booking with free cancelation!
The space
2 master ensuites with King beds. One with a shower and one with a shower and tub. 3rd bedroom contains 4 bunk beds and a full bathroom with shower across the hall. Open kitchen, dining and living room. Living room has a twin pullout couch. Laundry room as you walk in from the garage. Private hot tub on back deck.
Guest access
All access with exception of owner’s pantry and closet in one of the primary bedrooms. However there is still a decent size closet in that room for guest use.

FABULOUS property! We love coming to Sunriver, so much to see and do and so much beauty. Cara's home was one the best we have stayed at. Like other properties, it was clean, updated and tastefully decorated. But what set it apart was how well Cara has anticipated your needs to make it such a great experience. The kitchen was very well stocked including some spices and lots of supplies. The house was dog friendly with a crate, long lead, and dog pillow. There were tons of bikes! And all the fun stuff like an entire closet full of boards games, life jackets, inflatable boats, basketballs, footballs, you name it. Next time we will not need to bring all this stuff because the house is so well supplied. The location is phenomenal, super close to Fort Roc park and I walked my dog daily down to the river so he could swim. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for having us Cara.

Fantastic house with every amenity!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. This was one of the best stocked houses we’ve ever stayed in. The kids loved the ping pong table, hot tub and the great assortment of bikes - there were even kids bikes available for the 5 year olds in the group. The kids’ bunk room was perfect and the adults enjoyed the two comfortable king bedrooms. Definitely recommend staying here - Cara has thought of everything!

Fabulous winter getaway in Sunriver!

My parents, husband and our two kids (4 and 8 months) recently stayed here and had a wonderful time! Cara’s house was perfect for the 6 of us. It was well-appointed, super comfortable, and very well stocked with higher end kitchenware, coffee makers, etc. There was even a high chair and pack ‘n play for our baby to use. The house was nicely decorated and much more modern looking than most homes in the area. Cara was an exceptional host and excellent with communication. We look forward to coming back here on future trips to Sunriver!

Fabulous!

2 Quartz Mountain has everything you could need. If you can’t find it, look again! It’s so well appointed with thoughtful touches like assorted treats on the counter and a variety of coffee pods (for both the Keurig and Nespresso). There are spices and cooking oil in the cupboards. We brought our favorites but there is a whole closet with board games. The bunk room has a dvd player and Wii although we didn’t use them. I imagine the fireplace and fluffy blankets are nice to have when it’s chilly. I love how light and bright the interior is. All the beds are comfortable with soft sheets and bedding (even the bunk beds). The back deck area is lovely, we enjoyed sitting outside and the chairs are comfortable and don’t get hot. The hot tub was nice and very clean. It wasn’t too hot for my 10 year old to sit in. Such a great location! Close to Fort Rock Park and the SHARC. With the SHARC passes we booked pickle ball and went swimming. There are multiple bikes and sports equipment to use. Cara, the host is very responsive and so nice! VRBO sends out an email with check in information 24 hours prior. The door code was missing from the email. The next morning I sent a message through VRBO thinking I’d hear back in the afternoon. I had an answer in less than 30 minutes! I was so impressed! Thank you for a fabulous trip with all the sweet thoughtful extras! My daughter had so much fun and thought it was the perfect Sunriver house! I would book again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Comfortable House

My adult daughter and I met for Memorial Day weekend at Quartz Mountain House. Our stay was everything we could ask for; really fun and comfortable furnishings, and with anything one would need. The property/house is very clean, and we appreciated hiking with the snacks that were provided. Wifi, TV, etc., worked w/out a hitch, and drawers and cabinets are discreetly labeled for contents. Cara was always responsive, both before and during our stay. The house is close to hiking trails, and many nearby parks and monuments. It is apparent that Cara has put a ton of effort into making this property stand out, and I certainly plan to return. Thanks, Cara!!!
