“We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. “I was blown away by how nice Table Rock Resort was when we arrived. We stayed in a riverside room and it was much nicer than I imagined based on the pictures online. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our rental car. The location is aout 15 minutes from downtown San Ignacio but feels very remote. We heard Howler monkeys on most nights and got to see a lot of hummingbirds and a toucan while eating breakfast. I highly recommend...

“Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife.”

“Great service, they were always nice and helpful. Laundry service quick. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Good location - basically right on the main street so close to everything. The breakfast was extremely light: bananas, bread to toast and butter/jam and then coffee/tea/water. But they had a microwave that could be used anytime and a refrigerator in the room (much appreciated). I liked my stay and would stay here again if I went back. ”
