Country house dream - coach house under walnut trees

This coachman's house in a scenic location near the Potsdam lakes and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Prussian Park and Cultural Landscape is a perfect retreat from which to start great tours to the nearby (Caputh with Einsteinhaus, Sanssouci Castle, Cecilienhof Castle, Babelsberg Castle, Babelsberg Film Studios) and distant (Berlin) surroundings. The more than 100-year-old two-storey coachman's house has been converted into a monumental 50 m² house.

*The space*
The more than 100 years old two-storey coachman's house has been converted into a well thought-out 50 m² cottage, the barn gates replaced by glazing and doors, so that one always has a reference to the old garden with venerable walnut trees. Located on the ground floor, the space is defined by a 3-metre-long kitchenette with a window above the sink and a comfortable sofa bed in the living and kitchen area. At a large, floor-to-ceiling window there is a dining table where a good 3 people can dine. The space looks very cozy due to the light, the white painted, old brick cap ceiling and the floor heated with modern underfloor heating in natural stone design. Two people can sleep on the couch (1.40 m). An oak staircase, under which the shower room is cleverly arranged, you enter the bedroom. The house is accessed from the garden side via a wide terrace, where you can sit in a small circle and overlook the garden. The neighboring cottage is adjoined by a shared space (5 m²), where there is a washing machine and a dryer. Guests have access to a newly furnished gym (18 m²) and (on request) a wellness area with Finnish sauna.

Welcome to the Kutscherhaus in the idyllic Nuthetal! Our cozy cottage is surrounded by old walnut trees and offers you beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. You will be living here in the middle of nature and can look forward to a relaxing break.

The coachman's house is stylishly furnished and can accommodate up to three persons. It has one bedroom with comfortable double bed, bathroom with shower and toilet as well as a cozy living area with dining table and fully equipped kitchenette. Here you can take care of yourself and cook in peace if you like.

The highlight of the coachman's house is the sun-drenched southwest terrace overlooking the grass garden. Here you can have a cozy breakfast in the morning or end the day with a glass of wine in the evening. Our guests especially appreciate the quiet and the undisturbed nature that surrounds our house.

In addition to the relaxing atmosphere, the Nuthetal also offers numerous opportunities for activities in nature. You can take long walks in the gentle hilly forests of the Ravensberge with a distant view to the Potsdamer Platz to Berlin, the enchanted Teufelssee and the angel springs and bike tours to Caputh or make horseback riding trips on the nearby horse meadows. In the surrounding area you will also find some interesting excursion destinations, such as the Sanssouci Castle in Potsdam or the Lehnin Monastery.
