“We stayed in Kelso as a central point for visiting the South Borders of Scotland and this apartment was perfect. Right in the heart of Kelso. Lots of places to eat, shop, tour the town and its attractions like Floors Caste and the Antique Fair. Being next to the Abbey, the views out of each window was a painting. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies if you want to cook your own meals. Parking is located on the road at the apartment if you can get a spot or very close by is a free parking...

“Alnwick castle is just steps away, so a great view out the window. You have created a wonderful “home away from home” for visitors to Alnwick and area. We were greeted with a lovely welcome tray of treats, wine and a personal postcard - nice touches indeed. A new, well equipped kitchen. Great communication leading up to our stay and the information binder that is available in the apartment is very detailed. Thank you for the parking pass - much appreciated. Overall an exceptional place to stay...

“Had a wonderful time at the Meeting House. The apartment was very clean with a very well equipped kitchen. There were some lovely touches as well. A well stocked welcome pack including bread, milk and various preserves along with little vases of flowers. The flat was very comfy and would definitely stay there again.”

“Spotlessly clean, very spacious apartment,design decor very good . Tiny things to mention - property is actually called “ Wagonway” not “ Old Workhouse “ so can confuse when locating it . Would be good if enough dishwasher tabs were supplied - as a say tiny things”

“This property is just as described. It has great views over the birding sanctuary. While it is a bit out of town, it is close enough to explore this coast easily and have a quiet place to relax in between excursions. There is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is and there are stairs inside the apartment to the living and kitchen area. The small bathroom has a shower and the larger bathroom has a tub. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.”

“This property has been obviously set up for rentals w/o anybody trying to live there. For example, the light in the bathroom is super bright and motion activated -- imagine going there at night... and the sensor doesn't "see" the shower, so the light goes off just as you've shampooed your head. The kitchen isn't equipped for cooking (no functional knives, only one pan and a huge one at that, some drawers cannot open because they run into handles of others, no dish soap provided and exactly one...

“Apartment Spotlessly Clean. Hosts were first class, re-communication, parking details etc. Great walks, Good Pubs, Good places to eat. Would be very unfair not to give the Hosts and the Property 10 out of 10. Would recommend and will most definitely come back to Briella apartment. Dogs or Pets not allowed which in my opinion is perfect!”
