TillgÄng till stranden: Stranden ligger en mil frÄn vÄrt hus. Uthyrning inkluderar 2 parkeringsplatser för Bethany Beach som tillÄter GRATIS och obegrÀnsad parkering pÄ alla bostadsgator i Bethany Beach, inklusive blocken vid stranden. TillstÄndet Àr inte giltigt vid parkeringsmÀtare. Dessutom tillhandahÄller staden en strandbussvagn som gÄr genom vÄrt grannskap 2 gÄnger per timme och kostar 25 cent. Flagga bara ner framför huset. Ett annat alternativ Àr cykling. Ta med din egen eller hyr en (2 platser i stan, en pÄ gÄngavstÄnd frÄn huset). Pool och tennis: Tennis ligger 1 km bort i Ocean View. Det finns ett vattenpark pÄ Fenwick Island som heter Thunder Lagoon (5 mil söderut) som har en lat flod, barnpool och vattenrutschbanor. Det finns inga offentliga pooler i Bethany Beach. Rehoboth Beach (12 miles norr) har ocksÄ ett vattenpark.

VÄr gemenskap - Turtle Walk: Turtle Walk Àr ett lugnt bostadssamhÀlle med anpassade hem med mÄnga boende Äret runt. All parkering Àr utanför gatan. Det finns ingen genomgÄende trafik som gör vÄra gator perfekta för en lugn promenad, cykel, jogga, etc. Det finns 2 fitnessklubbar, golf och tennis i nÀrheten. Fenwick Island, Ocean City och Rehoboth Beach har vattenparker. Staden har en strandpromenad, ett samhÀllscenter, ofta gratis konserter pÄ bandet, volleybollplaner, bra butiker och restauranger, plus en minigolfbana.

Amazing Beach Weekend

We had an amazing time with family and friends. The home was well maintained and perfect location for quick beach and local activities. Best part was the beach trolley stopped right outside the home 2x an hour! Everyone in the neighborhood was extremely friendly too!

Very nice property for a family get together

The property was very nice and clean and was able to accommodate 4 families with kids ranging from 4 to 16. They had a great time in the room with all bunk beds. All families had a great time too at this place. The shuttle to pick us and drop off for the beach stops right in front of the house, and it services every 30 minutes. Small kids loved the ride. The house also provided us with 2 passes to park at the beach. Would definitely recommend this place. I had to reach out to the host once and she responded fairly quickly.

Hawksbill stay

There were a few downers for our stay. Most prominently, the kitchen lacked a set of measuring spoons, and ther was only one measuring cup. Also, the propane ran out, and the extra tank was empty. Less importantly, the house is 1.5 miles from the beach, not one mile as advertised. Finally, there were no beach chairs, umbrellas etc, which we had to rent. On the positive side, it’s a very comfortable and quiet house, on a quiet neighborhood.

House is beautiful and roomy

We loved the house, but getting to the beach with 2 parking passes and 11 adults didn't work well. We need property next summer that is much closer to the beach. What do you have?

Fun Family Trip

We had a great time staying at this property. The house was well equipped (note: you do have to bring your own sheets/towels or rent them locally). We had plenty of room for adults and kids. Walking distance to food, nature center, and shops. The dining/living room was a great place for everyone to hang out! The trolley comes right by the house a least once an hour. It is within walking distance to the Asswoman Canal Trail, which we loved.

Girls group

The property worked very well for our needs. We were a group of 11 ( 4 adults and 7 teenagers). The house allowed enough space for us all to branch out as needed, as well as a large enough central space for all of us to gather when we wanted! The trolley was great and the beach was an easy 1 mile walk for those that wanted to get their steps in! I would highly recommend this location - it was very functional and efficient!!

Celebration of Dad’s Life

Nice roomy space for me and 5 siblings. First floor queen bath shower was dirty, moldy. The inventory listings on the back of bedroom doors were missing or incomplete. The location was great for our purposes and we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend together.

Relaxing

As described, Hawksbill House was roomy & comfortable for all 13 of us, ages 3-72! The peaceful neighborhood was a welcome reprieve whether after days on the beach or shopping, and the location was perfect for everyone. We had a great week!

Great house for large group

Beautiful home, very spacious and clean! Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Easy and timely communication with host. A mile from the beach, but the neighborhood is lovely and the free town trolley stops at the front door! Or drive and park with 2 beach passes provided. A great stay!

We had a wonderful stay!

I went with my husband and our two kids ages 3 and 10 months along with our friends, which included four other families. The place was very clean, fit our group so well, and it took just a few minutes to drive to the Bethany Beach! We would be happy to come back again!

Large bedrooms and bathrooms

I was impressed with the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, there are two big dining tables, a smaller one that expands, and a breakfast bar. Plenty of seating, dishes, glassware, and utensils for feeding a large group. Lots of storage in the kitchen for food.

Great House for our Golf Trip

4 couples looking for a big house for a fun golf and beach weekend. We had plenty of privacy, each having our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Common area very amenable to group cocktail hour and late night chats. Location was great too, close enough to beach and restaurants and local golf courses. Overall a great house. I would rent again for sure.

The location cannot be beat

We absolutely had a blast - 5 families in this house - plenty of privacy and excellent spaces for a big group. The trolley stops right in front of the house and it is so fun to ride and enjoy the other neighborhoods. Had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to rebook!

Great home, great neigjborhood

We loved our stay here! Cindy was extremely responsive to all of my questions prior to our arrival, and while there, we didn’t need a single thing during our stay. Everything was as listed, the house was clean, and it was functional for a larger group. The “Bunk Room” was perfect for the teenage boys in our party. They had their own space to hang out each evening, so they had some privacy and space that worked very well for everyone, lol. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of storage for a week’s worth of food and beach snacks. The flow of the house is very functional, and when we weren’t at the beach we were in the back yard hanging on the deck or playing lawn games. Be aware that this is a residential neighborhood. It seemed to us that most folks in the area lived there, so it was quiet. The neighbor to the immediate right was wonderful! They were very friendly and helpful. Once you figure out where to park for the beach, it’s a breeze (we used the Maplewood lot and/or on-street parking on that street every day. There was plenty of space to park). We found it helpful to go down and scout out parking the first day we arrived. The boys took the trolley quite often, it seemed to run on schedule and often enough that getting folks to and from the beach in “shifts” was not a problem. We didn’t have any small children in our group though, so there was no need to accompany anyone anywhere. I’m not sure how it would be to take the trolley with smaller kids and/or beach toys. Overall we loved our stay!

Close and convenient

We had a great time enjoying Bethany! The house made great use of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other, even with our big group. The convenience of the house allowed everyone the flexibility to come and go to the beach at different times. We are planning our next trip and want to stay here again!!

One more time family gathers

Wanting a place for our 19 member family to gather for fun and fellowship at a fair price we selected this property. Its close proximity to beach and attractions as well as shopping and dining by either a short drive or pleasant tram ride were pluses.

Wonderful property, great location, responsive owner

We loved staying at the Hawksbill property in June 2022. Our extended family found the layout of the house good and the drive to the beach was so easy - maybe 5 minutes. The included parking passes were also really nice. When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned due to a scheduling mix-up. The owner responded immediately and not only got the cleaning scheduled ASAP, but remained in close contact to ensure that everything was completed properly. We'll be booking this property again in the future!

The perfect home for a group getaway

We had 13 women, and it easily accommodated all of us! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The house is well stocked. It is located minutes from downtown Bethany and minutes from the Sea Colony Tennis center! It was a fantastic experience and the owner was very responsive to our questions. We will certainly rent again!
