“For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. The cleanliness was ok but I again suspect that it was a rush job to prepare for our stay. The apartment location is central and a short walk to the train...

“The owner was very helpful and nice. Comfortable beds. Clean but very worn. Free water, drink and chocolate. Free parking. Good Wi-Fi. Elevator. The area was very rough and on the first day two police cars came to get someone in the house next door. Breakfast at a cafe nearby. The listing really should mention the tv is almost impossible as the wifi signal is bad and maybe have some games or puzzles available as we were not aware the tv would just buffer constantly.. “The house was really lovely, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. We didnt eat any meals at home but the kitchen seemed well equipped and there were plenty of mugs and cutlery. The beach was glorious and only 15 mins walk away. Filey and Bempton Cliffs nearby.Wouldn’t normally have chosen a holiday ‘village’ but it was very pleasant. I would imagine it can get very busy in high summer but it was fairly quiet - perfect for us.Thank you”

“This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

"Second time I stayed here. Bed is good and firm. But the sheets, even tho they were clean, had stains. Very thin walls. I heard when the neighbour spoke on the phone in the room next door. Or when people came in late and spoke in the hallway. Bathroom needs to be updated. Very hot water in one tap and very cold in one. Wall paper is coming off in the room. No power outlets by the bed, not even usb. Dirty windows. I had to move the bed, wish I didn't. Previous guests trash under it. It looked clean but so many things had stains on it, like the small info signs or the walls, the furniture was sticky. A hoover was in the hallway, when I walked up the stairs (elevator was out of order) but it was not clean. A lot of dirt in the stairs. Positive: Free parking and nice personnel in the morning. I gave it two chances. First time was bad, second worse. Too bad because the location is quite suitable. "
