“The Cabbage is a cozy, charming updated cabin near a small, private lake. Situated in a wooded area, the property is large and includes a garage with kayaks. Beds are comfy and lots of small amenities included. One close neighbor but they were not on site while we were there. Lots of things to do in the small area towns. We would love to visit again and stay in The Cabbage.”

“The house was clean. Lovely deck out back and stocked sufficiently. Disappointed in the sleeping areas as I would hesitate to call one area a bedroom. There are no doors on the sleeping areas and you walk through one area to get to the other. Also, the furnace is quite loud and close to your head in the one room for sleeping. The home is not handicap accessible, there is a very large step up from the living room to the kitchen and 2 steps down into the back sleeping area, having knee...

“I had an absolutely wonderful stay. When I arrived, it was becoming clear that it was going to snow overnight and then get very very cold. I was thankful to have restaurants and grocery stores close! After stocking up for the weekend, I just stayed put, and relaxed, and really enjoyed the view of the river as I sipped tea and let the world melt away. Didn’t get to XC ski or FatBike, I was just too cozy. Maybe next time. Definitely will be a next time. This was just what I needed:)”

“The hospitality attention to detail and warm personality exceeded my expectations. This was a family vacation with my son and grandsons they were very pleased with the peaceful surrounding and the opportunity to fish, hike, wade in water and enjoy all aspects of cottage. Each night they ended with roasting marshmallows at fire pit. Beautiful, relaxing and scenic with just the right touches to help you enjoy blessings of family.”

“We were very impressed with the experience at the property. As soon as you walk in you can smell the cleaness and the importance to detail. You will find alot of little personal touches that make this a great get away. There is plenty of toys and new experiences to be had and you wont be disappointed. We had a chance to meet them prior to check out and I must say they are great people. If your looking for a great place to stay do not hesitate you will not be disappointed.”

“We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views.”

“The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂”

“We enjoyed our stay. It was quite & peaceful. We were able to sit on the porch & watch the river flow by. We kayaked down to the property & it was a little tricky to get out there, so that could be improved. But it was a beautiful river trip! The bathroom is pretty dated but it was clean so we were ok with it. The Keurig did not work right so we contacted the homeowner and they delivered a new Keurig that day (thank you). We didn’t care for the fact we had to haul the bag of trash hanging out...
