A lovely cabin far enough to feel very remote but close to all that you may need or ever want in CO. Quiet, comfortable and the hosts are extremely attentive and truly care about your every need. Would have stayed longer if we could have...hated to leave.

This is a stunning property, with everything you need to completely relax in the woods. When we arrived, we were greeted by a group of turkeys just walking by, what a nice surprise. The house is very well appointed, very clean, and so incredibly cozy. The log cabin really lent itself to our stay as we used the wood stove and played cards by the fire. The host has an online guidebook that makes it a breeze, super slick. We will be back, thank you so much!

This cabin is great! The cabin was very clean and spacious. It has the old school cabin feel but with modern amenities. The owners were very responsive with questions we had. The online home manual was very detailed and gave great suggestions. Would stay here again!

This cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings having coffee. There are bird feeders right outside the living room window, and we loved watching all the birds and chipmunks. The cabin is not far from town. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful cabin in the woods experience! Creek nearby at bottom of the hill, had a nice time on the decks with the gas fed fire pit and grill, and grassy knoll area and hammock were great for the kiddo. The smore sticks and AC unit were nice touches too.

The reviews don't lie! We've stayed in multiple VRBO and other short-term rental properties over the years and this one was, by far, the most accommodating. The hosts provide everything you can imagine to get your trip off to a successful start, especially in the kitchen! We felt right at home the moment we stepped foot inside. It's beautifully designed, smells fresh and new, cozy and extremely quiet. We are a family of four: 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 11 and 9 and stayed for a week. It was a perfect fit. My favorite part was the ability to open the French doors in the morning and evening, and walk freely from porch to living room as needed, with coffee in hand and enjoy the crisp, cool air even in July! And the hot tub was in perfect working order and divine. This is such a dreamy cabin for a romantic getaway or for a family of 4 like ours. This is the ONLY home where I can truly say you don't need to pack all the extras for. They have thought of everything from the moment you arrive. We would love to return someday!

Perfect little nature getaway

We spent a long weekend at this cabin in the woods. It was exactly what we wanted! Everything as advertised and then some. We packed way too much extra stuff as this place had it all already! We would love to come back and enjoy this place again. The hosts were excellent at communicating and staying in contact as needed. The hot tub on the deck next to the bird feeders is where we spent most of our time! We did some light hiking around the cabin as we loved the cabin so much we didn’t really leave

A Perfect Escape—Thoughtful Hosts and a Dreamy Cabin

From the moment we booked the cabin—even before our check-in date—the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay effortless. They sent us a detailed message with everything we needed: directions to the cabin, a comprehensive house manual, local activities, hiking recommendations, and so much more. I’ve never experienced such an organized and thoughtful introduction to a place—it saved me from having to do all the research myself.The hosts were incredibly friendly and just a message away whenever we needed anything. As a lovely surprise, they even left us a welcome gift of wine and chocolate.Now, about the cabin—it’s absolutely stunning, unlike anything I’ve seen before. Just like the photos, it’s cozy and rustic, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. Outside, there’s plenty to enjoy too: a hot tub, grill, hammock, and a variety of outdoor games thoughtfully provided.I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be returning for another trip to recharge and reconnect with nature.

A perfect escape

This cabin is the perfect escape from the city to be close to nature without being too close to nature ;) we enjoyed watching the birds from the big windows and hearing the river rushing as its own white noise machine. Truly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back!

Cozy get away

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. It was during the spring and the area is really beautiful. The cabin is very well appointed, organized, and comfortable. We would be happy to return one day as these hosts made the trip awesome.

Magical Mountain Retreat

From the architecture and the furnishings to the scenic views, this was an amazing weekend getaway! The bird feeders near the hut tub were the perfect touch, and the home is perfectly decorated with everything we needed. Nederland is a 10 minute quick drive, where we had plenty of shopping and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave, and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful House in a Beautiful Location

I really enjoyed my stay here. The house itself was gorgeous and was very well kitted out. It was a great location with just enough isolation to feel on your own but close by to Nederland for an evening out. We intend to be back!
