“Lovely hitel in an udeal location, 5 min walk to Windermere Kake and town center with plenty of shops and eateries.
The spa is ideal after a busy day out to unwind in.
Cosy small double room was also modern and comfy, and a good size.
Complimentary Elemis toiletries in bathroom too.
We ate at the restaurant onsite which was very enjoyable.”
“A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided.
The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.
If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. ”
“Overall we had an excellent time at the burn how hotel. We did feel that the rooms could benefit from a little refresh, as some areas looked tired. The staff are simply fantastic! We had a small issue which was sorted very quickly and this was down to the efficiency of all the team. Jack in particular was professional, polite and is a credit to the hotel. Thank you.”

“Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV!
Comfortable bed and sofa. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and brought to our room, and was delicious!”
