“Omg where do I start! This hotel is amazing. So clean so friendly. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much. I brought my partner here to propose to her. There is a beautiful little cabin that they decorate and you can add stuff like chocolate covered strawberries, which are to die for. “We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the loveliest staff! We were then kindly given an upgrade from a snug room to a superior double with lake views which absolutely made our stay! Such a king gesture. This is our 5th time visiting we try to make it at least twice a year!”

“I had a very comfortable stay. The room was a generous size with an excellent bed, and I appreciated the in-room touches—tea and coffee, a fridge, and a smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix. Parking spaces at the front were difficult to get, but the overflow car park at the neighbouring hotel is just a short walk away and worked well for me. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience.”

“Fantastic break between Christmas and New Year. We stayed in the annexe across the road. Our room was dual aspect with a lake view. It was perfect for our needs for our two nights stay. Breakfast was very good. The location was close enough to stagger up the main road from Bowness without too much effort.
