“A cute, quiet and comfortable cottage, I would move there full time if I could! With 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a full kitchen (with a dishwasher!) and a washer/dryer, it had everything we needed and was a convenient walk to the town center with wonderful shops, pubs and attractions. There were just two of us, but it would have comfortably accommodated 6.”

“Ein gemütliches, individuelles, recht geräumiges, Haus mit etwas verwittertem Charme, passend zum schönen Pub zwei Häuser weiter, und wunderschönem Garten und Außenbereich. (Es ist das blaue Haus ganz links in der Häuserreihe. Ist etwas unklar auf den Bildern.) Gut ausgestattet - sogar Netflix u.a. auf dem Fernseher, wer es braucht. Wir nicht. Und meist ist jemand in der Nähe, im Pub oder in der Brauerei, alle offen und hilfsbereit. Ein paar kleinere Reparaturen wären nötig, nichts Wesentliches....

The store keepers next-door were so friendly and helpful, as was Shelly the manager. The house is elegantly simple without too much clutter, all the necessary amenities, and great local details, such as locally-made wool blankets and bathroom products. We found the products in a nearby store, and I took some home....

“Es ist ein kleines Cottage hinter einem Haus der Vermieter, aber komplett unabhängig. Lage sehr schön auf Valentia Island, ca. 5km bis zum Festland. Guter Ort um auch ein bisschen länger (~ 1 Woche) zu verweilen. Durch Insellage aber relativ weite Wege z.B. nach Kilkenny o.ä. ACHTUNG: Buchung über Travelnest (TN): hier habe ich schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, da TN zunächst eine Probebuchung auf die Kreditkarte macht und zwar in brit. Pence, dann sperrt Mastercard die Karte, weil sie illegalen...

“When you are paying top dollar for a property, one would NOT expect to have to check in and then drive three blocks and pay an additional 15 euro for electricity, no instructions on how to turn on hot water, no towels, and overall one, if not the worst rental experiences I have every had anywhere in Europe, for the money they are charging all items should have been included. We are on holidays from Canada, why would we bring towels? Manager knew we were checking in, TURN ON THE HOT WATER- this...

“We loved Ireland, especially loved the house and the Dingle area. We were busy every day and made sure we left time to visit every Dingle pub and every Dingle coffee shop. We completely enjoyed our stay.”

“House was very spacious for our family of 11 which included 2 babies. Delighted that all rooms had en-suites with plenty of towels and all other necessary bathroom accessories. The pods for washing machine were great as we had to do a washing for baby. A lovely bowl of fruit and food in fridge were very welcome. The family were very helpful and friendly and we had a very special wedding weekend in dingle.”
