“Having your own cabin is really nice. The kitchen was cute. The bathroom could use some updating. The shower stall didn’t have a light which made it very dark. The room also needed a new bed. The one was really old, but still had some comfort. ”

“The cottage was just as shown. Extremely clean, cozy & within walking distance of Village of Black Mountain. We didn’t cook, but kitchen appeared to be well equipped for simple meal prep. We would definitely stay again. Check in & communication was easy.”

“Great place for a relaxing vacation. Close enough to all the hikes we were doing. Then we were able to come back and hop in the hot tub. About 15 minutes away from restaurants but keep in mind a lot close around 3pm on sundays. Small incline for the drive way but not on a busy road. Lots of beautiful plants around the cabin!”

“This home appears to have had a major upgrade to the entire interior. It is as cute as can be. Exterior is dated but please don’t judge this home by its exterior. The walk-in shower is a plus as were the plush towels and linens. The home is well stocked with all essentials. WI-FI works well and the LR has a Smart TV. It was a joy to stay here and are sad to be leaving this morning. Great place, extremely reasonable cost for a place minutes from Asheville,NC”

“The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. All trash cans are stored inside the garage for the house and cabin. Upon arriving the trash cans smelled very bad. I could smell them when I stepped outside my car and could...

“The cottage is cute and very clean. There is a stream that runs through the property. It was peaceful to watch and listen to it from the porches. We spent time at the house and took day trips to Shenandoah National park and Grand Caverns. I would definitely book this same place again.”

“My sister and I stayed at this place shortly after my Husband died in 2021. It is the perfect size for 2 - 3 people or even 4 if you don’t mind just one bathroom and sharing beds. We came back with a friend to celebrate her granddaughter’s high school graduation with a small family dinner and games.”

“The cabin was cute but the hot tub was a cold tub. Emailed the owner and didnt receive a timely response (1.5 days later and we stayed 3 night). I ended up spending some time to get it going, but unfortunate. We did have some encounters with rodents but its a cabin in the woods. Beautiful views and was cozy otherwise.”
