“A good place to have as a base to explore the area. Comfortable especially the double bed, and had everything you may need. It's not luxurious but very practical, good for the dog as long as they can get upstairs.The only down side is the proximity to the road although that was only busy at peak times. Very kind of the local pub to allow parking.It served us well while visiting family in Walls end.”

“The house is a really good size, we were impressed with the cleanliness.As someone has already complained about the down stairs tv...it as yet not been fixed. You can only watch for a while if you stream it.The kitchen is missing a potato masher, could also do with a couple of big pans and a couple of bowls.As guests have also said there I'd no spare anything so if 6 people stayed you would struggle.Access with a wheelchair is totally impossible due to the people's which should be mentioned in...

“Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”
