The chalets/rooms and the resort itself is beautiful and has great facilities and surroundings. The 10 stand-alone chalets are elegant and well-positioned for seclusion.
The food was really outstanding, best of our trip. We had a set menu for two nights, and a la carte the last night, all very good.

ButâŠ. This is not a place for the light sleeper or someone with difficulty walking. The area around is quite loud and the train at 5am is probably going to wake you up no matter where in Ella youâre trying to sleep. The walk to the hotel is short but really steep like REALLY STEEP.

âIt's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, itâs better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.â
