The bottom line is that this is a lovely cabin in a great location, and I'd happily stay here again. The view out the back is spectacular. The kitchen is nicely stocked, though if there's anything specific you need for a cooking project bring it with you. The couches upstairs are really nice. Getting in and out is kind of odd, as the front door leads to an incredibly long raised wooden walkway and the easiest way to get to your car is a sliding glass door in the second upstairs bedroom. We had a really nice time here.
There are a few issues that need addressing. There are no curtains in the main room, and the sun tends to create a powerful glare if you're sitting on the bigger couch or trying to watch TV. The front door has a gap that lets a lot of cold air in during the winter months. The main bedroom upstairs is not really insulated, and it gets quite cold. There seems to be some sort of secondary heater in that room, but there are no directions for it and it's hard to figure out. The TV in the main room needs to be updated to something that has more HTML ports, and it would be good to have some basic instructions for it.
Contacting the hosts was hard. I couldn't tell whether we were supposed to use VRBO or some other method, and we got some messages that indicated a lack of communication between the various entities involved in the place. Everyone was nice, but two times I asked simple questions that never got answered at all. All of this would be fairly easy to fix.
