“We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. It was a nice balance of rustic, cozy charm for an 1800s farmhouse with the right touch of modern amenities. We got to explore the property a little bit, getting to see the horses, cows, and pigs. “I rented this last minute after making a mistake on another rental I wanted. I accidentally rented an entire house with privacy and had it all to ourselves with our dog but the accident was I booked the wrong week, it was the week prior to what I needed and lost all my rental fees. But I was desparate for a place because it was for my sons wedding so 2 days prior to needing it I found this place. It looked exactly like the last one I booked and the size seemed similar so I booked it quickly....

“Lisa was a wonderful host, very accommodating to our needs, always got back to us asap when we had any questions and supplied things like snacks, water & coffee which was not expected at all. My only slight disappointment, I say slight because we had so much to do that we didn't really have time to enjoy it, was the lake view. I expected the lake to be directly across from the house with a straight clear view but the house was one house up from the corner. However, I would certainly book here...
