There were adventurous and playful touches, including the secret hide-away on the first floor, behind a bookcase. Housing a hotel in a very old house is another terrific choice. The restoration process is clearly in progress; it's understandable that it's a long-term project. Drawbacks were largely fixable. “I love Fairfield layout. The room is very comfortable, two televisions helped a lot with our grandson around. Breakfast is excellent and the staff were very professional and friendly. My only complaint is that the internet was out for a whole day.”
