“Check in was efficient and pleasant. The room was clean and the air conditioner cooled everything down quickly. The walls are pretty thin and if the neighbors are loud you will hear them. The restaurant across the highway was pretty good, but if you’re walking, be careful making your way across! Make note that the motel is not in Bridgeport but 5 miles away.”

“Wonderful classic inn in a beautiful, old building. We didn't mind the shared bathroom but the place was pretty thin-walled and we could hear people in the next room snoring quite strongly. The breakfast was OK. Lovely location in the mid of the main street. I'd stay here again.”

“What a Gem of a hotel in the Eastern Sierra! We loved this unpretentious, very comfortable lodge. Recently remodeled, everything is super clean. Our Room (#1) overlooked Bridgeport's Main Street and the beautiful 1880 courthouse across the street. Main Street is also Hwy 395, but at night it's not busy. The Bodie Hotel is also an old building - it reminded us of a European B&B. Pro Tip: restaurants close early in Bridgeport, so plan your meals accordingly. So, if you're tired of motels,...
