“We arrived to the beautiful small town of Jacksonville, OR and was very welcomed by the staff at the front desk of Wine Country inn. The room was big, clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy. The front desk staff gave us some good tips and a map to the city center which was a beautiful old small town. We definitely advise people to go here instead of Ashland, this place is much more “down-to-earth””

“Beautiful property on the winery. Nicely decorated room & large shower. Separate living, kitchenette & bedroom area. The only downside is the room we had had the parking area on one side & the winery tasting room on the other. So we kept our curtains closed. Also the hot tub was dirty. We were looking forward to using it. ”

“The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was nice but very small and awkward to climb stairs to use it. Overall, loved the location, walking distance to restaurants & stores. Remotion winery tasting room on site had the best wine. Excellent stay, thank you.”

“The property is at a winery with beautiful views of swans and a new baby swan, and the surrounding vineyards. The grounds are in good condition and the areas next to winery are lush and green with lots of things to look at. The winery itself has good food and even better wine. The Glamp Cottage trailer we stayed in was full of amenities including an electric fireplace, outdoor fire pit, outdoor dining and a hot tub. When you walk inside it is decorated very nice. “I loved this hotel! Even though I stayed for only one night, it felt like I was on a real vacation. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There were streaming options for the tv which is helpful for me as I had my 3 young children with me. I asked to be on the ground floor so we wouldn’t make too much noise, and even though I was on the 4th floor instead we couldn’t hear other patrons and I don’t believe they could hear us! “The place is nice and away from the city. The place is very rustic and cozy, great if you are looking for something that gets you away from technology. Rooms don’t have a tv and the internet is a little slow, but the grounds are beautiful. Come early for the wine, the bar closes early and staff isn’t around after it closes.”

“Loved that it was a newer hotel and very clean and convenient to a gas station. Parking lot felt safe and very well lit.”

“I wasn't aware of how the freeway noise was going to affect our sleeping. That it was sooo close to the front of the hotel, and then an incredibly large truck stop on the other side!!! So had to wear my ear buds each night to drown out the noise. The Hotel was clean and stocked with treats, which was nice”

“Beautiful property. I wish we day more than one night there so we could have had time just to sit on the porch taking in the river and surrounding nature. Maybe on a return trip…. Then We can try their restaurant too. It’s a relaxing place and the cider place next door has tasty cider.”
