“The house was a perfect size for the 3 of us. My grandson enjoyed crabbing and fishing off the dock. We rented bikes nearby and went for a nice bike ride around Blackwater Refuge. Loved the sunrises and sunsets and the extremely peaceful location. We even had a little visitor. My grandson named the little kitty Hooper. ”

“A gorgeous property perfect for a quiet getaway from the city noise. The cottage is very charming, and perfect for two people. Very clean, accommodating, private and peaceful. The private beach is beyond charming and the local spots are amazing. We recommend the frying pan and highly HIGHLY recommend the spider hall farm stand (get the apple cobbler). Nonetheless the cottage is truly amazing and a perfect get away. ”

“We stayed here two years ago and it was pristine. We were expecting a little aging of the property and the furnishings, due to age. Not so but far otherwise…it was if anything even better condition than two years ago. The bay and the birds are the reason we come and the house just enhances the experience. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. It was just a short walk to the beach. Found lots of sea glass. The neighborhood was quiet, the house had everything you could need and most importantly, it just felt cozy. The hosts were very sweet as well. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Rob and Clarissa's property is in the perfect location on Brooks Creek. The views are spectacular! We enjoyed listening to the birds or watching the activity on the water while we sipped our morning coffee. The three bedrooms and loft space provided more than enough room for 4 adults and two 17 year old boys. Rob is very responsive to any needs his guests may have. “The house was exactly how the pictures showed !Cute and cozy ,and clean ! Im a country girl and felt at home sitting on the porch,enjoying the breeze. The sound of the ocean was a bonus!! Quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and morning walk on the dock. Overall i enjoyed my stay appreciate the hospitality of the host and would booked again !! ”

“The location was perfect; you can walk to the beach, stores, restaurants! Chesapeake Beach looks like a scene from Gilmore Girls! 15 minutes from a larger town with more options. 40 minute scenic drive to Annapolis or D. C. The house is small but perfect for 2 people! Be aware that the master bed is a standard size, but the second bedroom has a daybed and pull out bed! The back yard has some insecure spots if you bring a pet, but we used sections of our pet pen to cover those. And no dishwasher,...

We enjoyed sitting outside watching the sun set, just listening to the water and enjoying a fire on the beach. The kitchen is any cook's dream!
