Cyclist Haven

I am a cyclist and brought my bike with me as I was in the area for a month, 2 weeks in this property. They have a service elevator which was perfect for bringing my bike up to my rental. They also have a area in the back with a hose and drain that I was able to wash my bike which was really great. The staff, even though there was a bit of a language barrier, went over and above to accommodate my request. The building and unit extremely clean. Great roof top area to wind down and a restaurant if needed. Perfect safe location in town and as a single mature lady I did not feel unsafe at anytime. I am an early riser and not out generally past 9 or so but at that time of year was still dark and still felt very safe wandering about the neighbor. I did have a few issues as others have said with the property manager. Times for cleaning, forgotten even though it was written up by us both in the paperwork at check in. Very hard for me as I was recovering from an injury and need to carefully schedule my interactions with people in. There is also an issue with getting drinkable water. I arrived on a Saturday and good thing I had some with me from my previous rental as there was none in the unit, even to purchase and have delivered to the unit until Monday. Unless I could go out and carry my own in which I could not. You will definitely need to either be ok with the water bottle on the floor, which i had to do or be able to lift it yourself to the counter yourself.

Excellent Facility, Staff and Location

LIFE Condominiums is a well-run, new building close to the beach and restaurants in the newer part of Bucerias. We found it an excellent base for travel in Nayarit and Jalisco during our month's's stay.. Excellent parking garage when we rented a car. Exceptional staff. Wonderful upstairs bar and soaking tub with great bar staff and sunset views. The apartment was on the 1st floor (2nd floor in US terms), which was the same as the outstanding pool area and gym. We found the rooms smaller than we expected, but it was great for the two of us. Others have said the view was too industrial, but we found it satisfactory given the fact that there was a bit of construction going on. This did not interfere with sleep or our lifestyle. Highly recommended for adult travelers.

Great Location but….

The many, many times we’ve stayed at VRBO locations the photos justified our accommodation. This renter has about 60 units. The pictures show a view of the pool in the courtyard and the wine store building across the street. I knew the location well when I booked. The unit we were assigned looks on to the back alley, air conditioning unit, etc. not quite the appeal of the web-front-page. After settling in, unpacking, etc., we were told by the front desk we were given the wrong unit and would have to move. After some pain & speaking with management , we were permitted to stay. Jorge was very nice, but execution was deficient. We were told since we were staying more than a week we would get maid service. We did not. Apparently we needed to asked. Day 7, when all bath towels were soiled we asked for more. We were promised someone was on their way up. Clean towels arrived on day 10, 20 minutes before checkout. There was a washing machine in our unit but no dryer. If you use it, you need to hang your laundry on the back railing. I think with a great deal of staff supervision this place could be well improved. But they can never change the the view. My advice is make certain which unit you are getting, and the view, before you commit.

New condo in great location

We enjoyed our stay at Life Bucerias. The condo was roomy, clean and well equipped. The pool area was large with lots of seating areas in the sun and shade. The upper deck pool and bar area was fabulous. Great view of Bucerias. The gym was also very nice as my husband and I like to exercise even on vacation. The condo is in great proximity to restaurants and the grocery store and only a block from the beach, but still in the quiet side of Bucerias which was nice. Very friendly security and concierge staff. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside was there was no view from our deck but the rooftop deck made up for that.

Room 123

Not a great view from first-floor balcony. Garbage collection area is directly below balcony and bins on rollers are very noisy. House cleaning services never occurred on the scheduled day. Friends had the identical suite on the ocean front of the building for a substantially lower price as they booked through Bay Properties. Had to request chairs for balcony from Bay Properties. Recommend booking through other than VRBO.

We loved our stay in Bucerias Life. A little short on information to start but we got there. An info sheet on Laundry, Cleaning, recycling in all rooms would be a help. We would be interested in next year as well, so send info on other suites as well. Thanks George ge0mcc51@gmail.com
