“The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) ”

“This is an absolutely beautiful, serene place to stay, you are fully immersed in nature. The lodges are so comfortable and stylish, we slept so well. The food was absolutely delicious. The customer service was excellent. The rooms were spotless, with fabulous lake views. The swimming pool was clean and welcoming in the heat. Lots of activities on offer, you are really cared for. ”
