“Cockroaches. Disgusting. It was our only option to stay at 1am after driving all day and we stayed to sleep for 4 hours but could barley do it as soon as we go into the hotel the front desk guy isn’t there and there’s a sign to call a number , we call it and then he comes out of a random room hair a mess like he just woke up . We get our keys quickly and head to our room, as soon as we open the door a moldy musty smell hits us in the face. We close the hotel door and there’s a massive cockroach...

“We stayed 2 nights while going to King’s Dominion. Unpin arrival, the toilet in our room was blocked up. I had to call the front desk 3 times (hours apart) to get a plunger. One of the keys to our room didn’t work both nights despite being re-scanned a few times. Breakfast area is very small and was extremely crowded each morning. This hotel was fine for what we needed, but I would not have an extended stay here.”

“This hotel is amazing. This is my 2nd time staying here and I can say this hotel did not disappoint. The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Everyone greets with a smile. Lovely place, would stay again. ”

“What we loved: Beautiful property, amazing patio and fire pit, felt very private, hot tub and sauna were very relaxing, trail was lovely, pizza oven was a fun novel activity despite user error, great opportunity to reconnect and slow down Suggestions for improvement: provide oven-safe pans for cooking, add curtains for privacy or blocking sunlight in the morning, garage door was impractical for accessing patio, would have loved extra pizza supplies since our attempt at using the pizza oven...
