“I see that previous reviews complained about the rooms and/or staff, that's bs! you won't get a better hotel fo this kind of money. Highly recommend!”

“Price was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is a bit off from the main street but still walking distance. Everything was very clean. The only thing that was off putting was the smell when we first walked into the room. It smelled like the washing machine had wet clothes that were left in there too long. ”

“We loved the location and the setting of this Mimaru. This Mimaru has a free drink station and lobby area with tables and mats. They also had a hair straightener/curler available for rent. The rooms had ample space and was a great set up. It was close to shops and the station as well as lots of eateries. Right in Namba and a 5 minute walk to Dotonbori. ”

“The location is superb, reasonably priced parking is available on site, and the view from the rooftop onsen is astonishing (especially at nighttime). The hotel breakfast is most decent, albeit very crowded at almost all times. Rooms are more spacious than average. On the downside, to start with, the room was visibly dirty when I arrived after having checked in, with dirt (and even some garbage) on the floor, and grease on the curtains - simply not ok. You also had to pay extra fees not mentioned...

“The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a couple nights. The room was spacious and comfortable. The street is quite narrow, but taxi/uber can find you. It is walking distance from Dotonbori and Namba shopping. There are many restaurants nearby. Osaka is a vibrate city. This hotel is central enough to get to many places. You will enjoy it. ”

Great value and location. Small rooms.

"APA Hotels are always a good value option if you can live with the room sizes. This hotel is just newly opened (dec 24) and is in great condition. I just wish they would drop the “no tattoo policy” in the spa at least a few hours every other day. "

"This hotel is for sure one of the best I stayed at. We got a great offer for uppgrade when we arrived which meant the 31st floor. Such an amazing view! Stunning! The beds were really comfortable and I loved that the toilet was in a separate room, and also the showerroom with both amazing shower and the possibility to take a bath. Nice and luxurious feeling bath robes and the amenities. The breakfast offerered big varietes and possibility to ger your omelette made as you prefer. Close to Namba station, walking distanse. You have everything you need in this area, with lots of shops and convenient stores. Very good service from staff at the hotel. I would really recommend this Hotel, and I hope I Will have possibility to return some day "

Excellent location, decent overall, but unclean

"The location is superb, reasonably priced parking is available on site, and the view from the rooftop onsen is astonishing (especially at nighttime). The hotel breakfast is most decent, albeit very crowded at almost all times. Rooms are more spacious than average. On the downside, to start with, the room was visibly dirty when I arrived after having checked in, with dirt (and even some garbage) on the floor, and grease on the curtains - simply not ok. You also had to pay extra fees not mentioned when making the booking, and definitely not normal when staying in hotels elsewhere in Japan (including big cities). Although not the hotels fault per se, some foreign guests were very rowdy in the onsen area, without staff doing anything about it, which made the experience a lot less pleasant than it could have been."
