Friendly staff, great gym and in general a high quality experience. We booked with breakfast, and the breakfast is worth its price. Overall, a really great experience!”

“Room was spacious. Housekeeping services are available but you never see carts/housekeepers. If you choose not to have housekeeping, it’s very easy to get what you need and service is prompt. There was always one or more employees at the front desk and someone out front to help with questions, directions, etc. Location was great! We were able to walk - safely - to so many places. Although coffee was available daily in the “living room”, a coffee maker in the room would be nice. If we were to...

“Extended weekend trip to Chicago. Thompson Chicago has a great location in a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops. But the rooms in the hotel are showing signs of some wear and tear. The restaurant and bar are currently closed for renovation. ”

“Bodde en vecka på hotellet. Mycket bra läge och ett lugnt hotell med bra och trevlig service. Nära till bra restauranger och frukostställen. Åkte även en del tunnelbana och det var nära till stationen. Äldre stil på hotellet men allt var rent och snyggt. Kan rekommenderas!”

“This is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are clean. The service is impeccable, and the products!! The signature scent is to die for. It is now a part of my life. I had to buy a candle on the way out and have already visited the online store for body wash and lotion. Well done. There are a lot of choices in Chicago, but this is now my go to. Will definitely be back!”

“Quite close to Red Line stop Chicago 5 min walk. Close to plenty diffrent restaurants with walking distance. Only negative was their breakfast service no buffet as you often got on hotels and $27 for some scrabbled eggs, two sausages and fried potatoes. Well it’s even more worth to go to closest Starbucks for a better start for your morning ”

“Great staff but only one working when checking in and one when checking out made it take time and for this level of hotel there should always be resources to add. The room is like all other chain hotel, it´s like all hotel called the same designer and ordered the same furniture, carpet, bathroom setup. So un-personal and boring. Wifi was ok but not high-speed. “Great location but the check-in process took more time than necessary. We had booked a suite for 3 persons but when we got to the room there were only the king bed and nowhere for the third person to sleep. When we contacted the front office they referred to the pictures (with only one king bed) even if you could book the room for three persons. In the end they fixed an extra bed and we had a great stay!”
