“What an amazing cabin, area and host! Very responsive and communicative. Property is close to town but private enough you feel surrounded by nature!”

“Beautiful cabin that is tastefully decorated. Very comfortable, beautiful scenery, clean, and the bed was amazing. I would give a 5 star rating, but there was no shower, just a beautiful stand alone tub. I wish I would of paid more attention when booking; a shower is a must for us. The water for the tub, was luke warm at best, but we were able to put hot water in a pan from the kitchen to take a hot bath. Loved the area and trips to Burnsville. “Enjoyed the observatory.”

“Honestly the owner was excellent. Exactly as stated and more. It’s all about the pets. She should teach others what it is to be a pet host. I can not believe I found this gem and would recommend everyone that has a pet to stay here faster than in a heart beat. It was a wonderful stay and my Zuzu actually felt at home. Thank you”

We found the registration process to be confusing trying to do it through Expedia as it was a vbro. The owner went out of her way to be helpful.”

“My fiancé and I chose this home for our much needed weekend getaway alone. As soon as we pulled up, it was like love at first sight - had us SWOONIN’!! 🥰 This little house is one of the most unique and beautiful houses I’ve ever seen! Private, quiet, peaceful. The fire pit area was nice. The hot tub was PERRRFECT, very relaxing and clean. The house itself is just so thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very inviting, warm and cozy. Great choice for a romantic weekend awayThe bed was...

“Our family of nine (six adults and three children, ages 5–8) stayed here for five nights in July 2026.The highlights: The decks, especially the upper one, have spectacular views and became our favorite gathering spot. The three-level layout gave each family privacy, and the location is perfect for visiting Mars Hill and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also hosted extended family for a cookout, and the outdoor space and fire pit were ideal. Communication with Mighty Tree was prompt and responsive...
