“Great place to be based for touring around Galway, Connemara, and Mayo. Just took our time to discover all the small places and talk to people.”

“Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove.”

“Our stay was idyllic, dreamy, and fully relaxing. First, Janet and Michael are exceptionally warm and gracious. They made us feel welcome and right at home and were attentive to our comfort. The property is absolutely charming with beautiful cottage garden spaces and a lovely view from the all windows. Riley, the sweet, gentle, herding dog, greeted us often with her smiling face. The cottage is in the most beautiful area, with stunning walks to the beach, past lovely herds of cows, sheep, and a...

“Perfect location at the northernmost point of the Burren, a great starting point for excursions. The house has everything you need, a beautiful setting, and maximum peace and quiet! Very friendly, accommodating host! Wonderful vacation, we'd love to come back!”

“Stayed 3 nights on a 2 week golf vacation throughout Ireland. A great place to relax and recharge after the hustle and bustle of Dublin. And a great base to explore sights such as the Cliffs of Moher and close enough to Lahinch. Barbara was great as a host. Highly recommend ”

“Heaney's cottage definitely made us feel as welcomed flowers of May! The whole place was clean and the beds were comfortable! There were pillows for all types of sleepers and more! There was so much material on sites, food and activities. We wished we would have stayed twice as long. Close enough to drive to Cliffs of Moore and Bunratty castle just to name a few!”

“We came to Doolin for a wedding and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, stocked perfectly with a great amount of space. We felt like we were in a movie. The host communicated in a timely fashion, leaving nothing unanswered. Doolin (and surrounding towns) are quaint with a great selection of things to do and eat. Thank you for a perfect trip. We WILL be back. ”

"We really enjoyed our stay, especially the nice breakfast selection and the convenience of having both restaurants and vending machines. Less convenient: Only two elevators and the stairs were not very easy to find, adding some waiting time in the morning when everyone is going to breakfast at the same time. Also swimcaps were needed in the pool which you had to pay for (3Euro, mainly inconvenient since we had to run back to the room). On the other hand, the pool and especially the outdoor jacuzzi (nice and properly warm) were great. "

"Spenderade en natt med min fru under resa. Hotellet var relativt nytt och väldigt spännande inrett. Personal var tillmötesgående och fanns tillhands hela tiden. Restaurangen på takvåning med utsikt över hela staden. Hela hotellet var fräscht och rent coh en härlig atmosfär med blandade sällskap av resande och bröllopsgäster. "
