“North Turks, is a peaceful, beautiful location. Beach is pristine. It brings you back to simpler times. If you’re looking for dining, try middle Caicos mudjin bay. Beach and caves there are amazing and food and drinks are good. Buy your groceries in Provo as supplies are limited in the North island. Groceries are pricey but buy them in Provo and take them on the ferry with you. Most excursions are from Provo and you’ll need to ferry back there for them. Enjoy the tranquil beach and unwind....

“the little cottage is beautiful. Lots of light, nicely appointed kitchen. I loved the screened in porch. Although the little sand flies have no problem flying in so repellent is a must. The restaurant on the property is very good. It is only open till 3pm. (Except Wednesday and Saturday) Visiting Bumbarra beach is a must. ”

“This was a last minute trip and couldn’t have been easier or more beautiful. We’ve seen many beaches around the world and Dragon Cay and Mudgin Bay left us speechless. Snorkeling, swimming, walking/hiking, sleeping, lounging. Would have take advantage of paddle boards and kayaks but ran out of time. Cafe was delicious each bite. “Beautiful property. As someone else mentioned it isn’t 5 star luxury, but the views and the proximity to the beach is perfection. It is a little run down, but that didn’t bother us. We didn’t spend much time inside. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch starting at stunning views.”

There is demolition and construction debris strewn about the property including old deck railing, chain link fencing and barb wire, rusted out wheelbarrows. The "pool" shown in the picture is an open hole in the ground. Some of the decking has been replaced but the remainder is rotted with boards sticking up and holes through the wood and mostly covered with old pool equipment and ladder. “This was exactly what I needed, an affordable cute little place to stay. I ended up going solo so I had it all to myself, which was nice. Everything I needed worked just fine and was there to use. “Even though we are on the side of the island that is away from the hussle and bussle of Queens Bay. It is the perfect area for private beaches with peace and quiet.
