Villa Manganelli is a spacious villa near Camaiore in Versilia, set in a landscaped garden. Throughout the villa and garden, artworks and sculptures by the artist Giovanni Manganelli are exhibited, making the setting unique. Distinctive in style, this three-storey villa spans six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a series of living spaces with French windows opening onto shaded terraces and a large veranda overlooking the lawns and trees. An outdoor pool surrounded by decking, sun loungers and shaded seating completes the scene outside. Located near the beaches of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, the villa offers easy access to both the coast and the Apuan Alps.
Interior:
Villa Manganelli has three floors for a total area of approximately 450 sq m. The main entrance is located on the ground floor. It is accessed through a portico furnished with sofas and adorned with three works of Maestro Manganelli: "Tuffatrice", "Nuotatrice" and "Lancillotta" while his work "Narciso" is displayed in the large entrance hall. The ground floor is composed of a double bedroom with adjoining bathroom with double entrance equipped with tub, shower and toilet, another double bedroom, with access to the garden via a French window, fireplace (ornamental) and ensuite bathroom with shower, a single bedroom, an ample closet and a large living room-study-library. From the entrance and the lounge is a corridor with stairs leading up to the first floor with the large veranda set up with living and dining areas, grand piano and study corner, with access to the garden via a French window and then down a few steps complete with banister. Also on the first floor is a large living room with dining area, TV corner with fireplace (ornamental) and a sitting area with access to the veranda via French windows, as well as the sleeping area with a single bedroom, a bathroom with tub and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. The floor is completed by the kitchen which is structured in two zones: an internal one with all the utensils, dishes, hob, fridge and small appliances and an external one, completely closed by large windows overlooking the garden and including an additional professional hob, sink, dishwasher, a worktop, ovens, pantry and a French window which leads, via an external staircase, down to the laundry area. Continuing up the stairs from the first floor, you come to the attic floor, consisting of two large double bedrooms, one with fireplace (ornamental) and ensuite bathroom divided into two zones (shower zone and bath zone), while the other one has an ensuite bathroom with shower. Air conditioning in the bedrooms (Dyson mobile air cooler in the single bedroom on the basement floor).
Park:
The fenced garden measures approximately 10,000 sq m and features Mediterranean vegetation including cypresses, oaks, firs, palms, olives and fruit trees. Ornamental plants include oleanders, mimosas and roses. A white gate leads to the lower garden, where the pool is bordered by tall trees and a bamboo hedge.
Swimming Pool:
Located in the lower part of the garden and reached down a small slope equipped with a railing, the swimming pool is set in a non-slip WPC deck of approximately 120 sq m, on which is also the 80 sq m solarium area, equipped with sunbeds. The rectangular pool, measuring 9.5 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1.30 m, is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification and a ladder for access to the water. There is a large illuminated and furnished canopy providing guests with every comfort. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.
