âThis is an outstanding historical property, gorgeous inside and out. Our hosts are friendly, accomodating, and highly talented in the kitchen. The room was spotless, private, and very comfortable. The yard was spectacular, with a fountain, sculptures, and large lawn even including a visiting young family of deer. Great view of the ocean from the front porch.â
âWe had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN. We loved sitting on the "porch" (had two chairs and a small table) and take in the environment with the beautiful flower beds. Breakfast was lovely (real mugs!) with two exceptions. The hot water for e.g. tea had slight taste of coffee, i.e. the thermoses for hot water only and coffee were not kept...
âThe property was in a great location. The room was very inviting & home-like. The pool was very refreshing too. The only thing we found of concern was the bathroom needed a little more attention & cleaning. We would still stay here again because the manager was quick to address our concern upon entering the room. â
âPlace was clean and had everything we needed! Location was perfect (shops and food within walking distance). Loved the indoor pool. Also loved that they do a fire and sâmores at night, although we couldnât partake due to other commitments. â

âThe room was a good size, very clean and the curtains and bedspread were beautiful. There was a good sized fridge and coffee maker.
There were a number of dogs but it was quiet. The beach is nice and we had a nice view from the patio.

âDidnt particularly care about the sand and the bottom of the pool my sons feet were all beat up by the sand scrapping his feet besides that we slept awsome we woke up refreshed it was a great place to stay we will be back again. Thank u.

âMy husband and I were looking for a place to stay the night on a road trip up to Acadia so we booked at Howard Johnson. My only complaint was the overpowering smell in the lobby during check-in. However, once we got up to our room that smell was gone. The room was spacious and clean and I absolutely loved the look of the 1970's vibe. The bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out was great and the staff members were kind and helpful. We did not have breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment...
