IL PALAGIO erbjuder en magnifik bondgårdsvilla i toskansk stil i vingårdsområdet Colline Lucchesi. Det erbjuder modernt och flexibelt boende med utmärkta bekvämligheter, inkl. Chic och bekvämt inredda ligger IL PALAGIO bland privata vingårdar och olivlundar p�� de böljande kullarna 11 km öster om Lucca i en by som är lätt att nå till alla stora synpunkter i Toscana som Florens, San Gimignano, Pisa, Cinque Terre och stränderna Viareggio och Forte dei Marmi. Att utforska den omgivande landsbygden till fots kommer att vara en av höjdpunkterna vid platsen för IL PALAGIO, det finns många promenader i närheten genom skogsmarker och vingårdar, och bergstopparna VALGIANO och MONTECARLO där du kan uppleva några av Luccas bästa restauranger och utsikt ligger bara en kort bilresa bort.
Detta är en av de speciella Toscanas bondgårdsvillor som verkligen fångar imaginationen. På bottenvåningen i huvudbyggnaden finns ett stort vardagsrum med öppen spis och en öppen spis med öppen spis och en tv med internationella kanaler. Två trappor leder till två separata områden på första våningen i huvudbyggnaden. På första våningen finns 5 sovrum och 4 badrum:
- 1 sovrum med en king size-säng och eget badrum med badkar och byggd sho-wer;
- 2 sovrum med en king size-säng varje och 2 badrum med inbyggd dusch vardera;
- 1 sovrum med en king size-säng och 1 sovrum med två enkelsängar som delar ett badrum med inbyggd dusch
Villans bottenvåning imponerar med synliga stenmurar och välvda tak där en termisk salts inomhus uppvärmd pool ligger. Medan du blötlägger i det varma vattnet och njuter av badkar och den magnifika utsikten över skogen och kullarna, kommer en elduppvärmningsbar spis att lägga lugn och charm till dina avkopplande stunder.
Bilen ligger precis intill huvudbyggnaden (bara 10 meter bort) och den har en stor terrass utrustad som en lounge med utsikt och direkt tillgång till huvudbyggnaden med utomhuspool och jacuzzibadet som är dold bland en manicured trädgårdsterrass med utsikt ��ver ett vattenfall i skogen. Bilagan ger 1 sovrums svit med en king size-säng och vardagsrum och 1 sovrum med två enkelsängar. De två sovrummen delar en bastum med en inbyggd dusch och de har båda franska fönster som öppnar panoramaterrassen där lounge med utsikt är.
Gården är helt luftkonditionerad och har en mycket tillf��rlitlig wifi-anslutning som tillhandahålls av det nationella telefonbolaget.

Gas och el året runt belastas extra enligt förbrukning.

En helt återbetalningsbar deposition på 1500 euro begärs mot stora skador. Depositionen ges tillbaka vid slutet av vistelsen. För att garantera det faktum att en faktura kommer att utfärdas.

This villa was perfect in every way for our family and friends. The grounds are well maintained, the pool is beautiful and the indoor hydrothermal spa in the basement was a perfect way to relax at the end of a sight seeing day. We shared the villa with our family friends and with two separate staircases to the bedrooms, we each had our own space. With the back house, you could easily share with three families comfortably. Our kids were in heaven with the pool setup and exploring the grounds every day. We did not know much about Capannori before going, but it feels like this hidden gem within Tuscany. It was not super touristy (which we loved) and there were so many beautiful wineries and restaurants in the hills. Including the owner Francescos winery which is right down the street! Lucca is the most charming little town and was our favorite place to go for shopping and dinners throughout the week. We did use Chef Graziella for two private dinners at the Villa and those were hands down our best meals of the whole trip. She was phenomenal! Only praises for this extraordinary villa, the location and the people who made it a beautiful experience for us. Will be returning!!

The villa's rooms and grounds were spacious and well maintained. Special grazie to Francesco for answering all our questions quickly. Remember this is a "self catered" property so don't forget dish soap and sponges!

We had an amazing family vacation at Villa ll Palagio! The pictures very accurately represent the property.. We had 11 adults and had plenty of room to spread out and many areas to share together. Things to keep in mind are that this Villa is fairly remote. You can’t walk to a store to pick up groceries/ basic necessities easily. If you do not have car this can be tricky. There is a shortage of taxi services since many went out of business due to the pandemic. We were fortunate to have found a car service that was wonderful! Had we not found them our experience would have been very different! Of course, you pay handsomely for this service. Because of remote location & price per week of the villa, we felt that more basic necessities should have been provided at the villa. After one day we had to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, dish soap, sponges etc. etc. Also, because recycling is mandatory & refuse must be separated or heavy fines are incurred, we expected the host to provide the recycling bags which they did not. That made things a little tricky as well. Without proper bags in the recycling bins, we had an ant problem all week in the kitchen. We also had an issue with the outdoor pool. After 2 days, it began to turn green. Allessandro was wonderful in getting the pool service out quickly, but it took several trips and several hot days before it looked swimmable again. On our last day the filter stopped working altogether & again had to be serviced. It did not stop us from using the pool for most of us, but wasn’t an ideal situation. Another suggestion- please provide ice cube trays for the Villa or an ice making machine! This was a big problem for many of us, who prefer ice in their cocktails. We resorted to cutting off the tops of plastic water bottles & making ice in them before we were able to locate a store that sold bags of ice (after 3 days). If the very simple plastic ice cube trays had been provided it would have been so much easier! Also, an outdoor clothesline would be nice too. Dryer is not great! Lastly, if you stay here you MUST hire Alice to come to the villa and prepare a meal (or two or three!) for your family! Alice was recommended to us from the host & she did not disappoint. We were fortunate to have her as our private chef for 3 different nights! A wonderful experience that our entire group loved and will never forget!! Lastly, the host also owns a winery- would have been nice to taste that too!

A magnificent property that was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Francesco was very accommodating. We had a cooking class with Cristina that was great fun & resulted in delicious food in large quantities, she even accommodated my husband’s very restrictive diet. He ate better than ever! Our drivers from Tuscan drivers were delightful and Katherine was very helpful with all of the navigation around Covid restrictions in addition to the transportation. Alice prepared several nice dinners for us. One person in our family has difficulty walking and the annex worked well for her needs. With Covid, you must do a great deal of planning; however, it was definitely worth it!

Our two week family holiday was amazing. The house was everything and more!! We all enjoyed it thoroughly. Beautiful, clean and great amenities. The chefs suggested were incredible, Cristina and Alice. We enjoyed the house and made several day trips to other wonderful Italy destinations. We are very greatful!!

We had a wonderful visit with a party of 12. Manuela made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of. Tucked into the hills, the location provides privacy but you also have fairly convenient access to groceries and restaurants down in nearby villages. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed hiking in the surrounding area through the olive groves and vineyards. We highly recommend this property.

Villa Palagio is situated on a Tuscan hillside very close to Lucca with gorgeous views. We had one of our best holidays here with six other couples. The villa is spacious and intriguing. The pizza oven was a huge hit. One evening we had a delicious dinner prepared by a local chef. My best memory is drinking wine on the veranda while listening to the music from the village festival. Sonia was the most attentive agent I have ever dealt with. We had Fantastic feelings - highly recommend!

This house and property is amazing. Well maintained and very few surprises. Only real surprise was the seemingly high utilities charge at the end of our stay. Guests are charged for ALL electric and gas (propane) at the end of the stay. A considerable amount of that usage is unrelated to personal use. For example there are multiple outside lights that come on at night and stay on throughout the night and the indoor pool and outdoor pool both have filters that run independently of tenet usage. The indoor pool is heated and kept at a reaonable temperature independently of usage which incurs constant charges for gas. Our utility charges for one week were an amazing 727 euros. This certainly did not reduce our love of the property or mar our experirnce. It was just a surprise!!!

Ros and I want to thank you again for your wonderful tours. The tour of Lucca was perfect. Everyone should be so lucky to get to tour Lucca through your eyes. We got to see the best of the best. Knowing where to find excellent pasta ,pastries, bread, wine, produce restaurants and of course shopping made the rest of our stay even better. It was nice of you to introduce us to many of the shop owners and experience their pride and passion for their establishments. Also it was so much fun seeing how much you love Lucca and your enthusiasm for all things local....it just made us appreciate how awesome Lucca is. The trip to Monte Carlo to Buonamico Winery was outstanding. It helped so much that you knew the owner and staff…so we were treated so special. The wine tasting, the tour and the lunch were fantastic. The winery staff were clearly very proud of all the premises and the fantastic wine. Stephane the driver you arranged was great as well...we felt safe and he made it a fun drive. We will definitely return to Lucca, what you were able to show us is a big reason for that! And we will definitely rent one of your amazing villas once more! You are a bespoke agency managing the best villas in the area and we are so glad we found you. We reserved this villa for my family and a group of friends to enjoy a couple of weeks ago. It was a bit like time travel to a more peaceful time with beautiful scenery, lovely people and a surprise around every corner. The villa has a rich 300 year old history and I felt like I was living in a storybook. The villa is incredible and perfect for a large group. The property owner, Nicola, and all his staff really went above and beyond on the service. We had a bit of an emergency while there and without being asked, Nicola and Sidrak showed up to help with translation and transportation. Without their help I don’t know what we’d have done. And the lovely chef they recommended we hire, Alice, along with Paolo and Elisabetta, truly made the most delicious meals I had during the entire three weeks we were traveling in Italy. And when we were working through our emergency, again without being asked, Alice sprang into action and also went out of her way to help us. I would definitely recommend the villa and the chef! And don’t miss out on a wine tasting at Nicola’s winery just down the street. Great wine and an amazing history that goes back seven generations. Wish I was still there! We were a party of 8 adults and 6 children and had a lovely time. The villa is stunning - well equipped and beautifully furnished. The heated indoor pool was necessity so early in the season and well used by the children. Pretty countryside and close to some vineyards, lovely walks and also walkable (just) to the village for restaurants if required. We had Cristina prepare a welcome dinner and also she came to give us a cookery lesson which was great fun. We'd also recommend 'Tuscany Ride a Bike' in Lucca - we organised a bike ride with a guide which included lunch at a farm.

We stayed at the property in late March 2019. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The Vil-la was beautifully done. Bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen large, the living spaces spacious and more than enough for everyone. The house was immaculate. The grounds were beautiful, the garden was romantic and elegant with many lemon trees and the ga-zebo on the top of the fortress surrounding the property with a breathtaking view. The heated pool was a welcome relief in the afternoon and well used by our children. We were also blessed with a lovely owner available for our request and always met with a big smile. Sonia, the host, was outstanding. She was like a personal concierge. She helped arran-ge anything we needed during our excursions thru Tuscany. Advice on best places to see, best spots to park, best restaurants to visit. This is my 8th visit to Italy, but I saw it through new eyes. This note is just to say how much we loved our stay in Villa Il Palagio. This Villa was the PERFECT way to appreciate Tuscany: it's location, the views, and especially the hospitality, It is a magical place! We loved every moment. A million thanks.

We booked this villa for our family reunion and had a wonderful stay! The villa is very spacious and well equipped and was able to accommodate 9 of us plus two babies very comfortably. The pool is magnificent with spectacular views, plenty of pool floaters available. Multiple dining areas available allowing for options during sunny /rainy weather. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of Tuscan charm. Close proximity to Lucca, Forte dei Marmi and grocery stores for immediate shopping needs. Mrs Manuela was very welcoming upon our arrival and was always available to answer all our questions and provide recommendations. Thank you for being a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back very soon! Our stay was perfect and would highly recommend this villa to everyone!
