Hotell nära Cape Disappointment Lighthouse

“It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel.”

“The staff was super helpful, considering one bed was broke, ( they knew it and rented the room anyway) and the door locks wouldn't work. Someone did come very fast to get a key from the office to let us in at 8pm. Unfortunately they couldn't get in the office (same lock issue) and a 2nd person came with a key to the office to get us a key to the room. NOTE. keyless entry may not work well with a west facing door on a HOT evening.”

“My husband and I stayed at Chautauqua with our 4 and 1 year old. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the complementary breakfast was very good, and the close walk to the beach and pool made our stay so fun. The only minor issue I had was our room was not as clean as it could have been. My son’s hands and feet were very dirty from crawling on the floor. “This hotel could be a 5 star if: 1. They got rid of the low boy toilets 2. They got a better toilet paper - it is truly paper, bring your own 3. They had handheld shower head 4. They had better coffee in the room and in the breakfast area”

“Parking was not available unless you wanted to move your car every two hours or risk unsafe areas. Breakfast was available at restaurant. Staff when onsite were great but often not there. Room was clean. Noise outside was terrible. No AC so windows were open. Will not be back.”

“This hotel is so cool and it’s in a great location. There were earl plugs in the room , in case the sea lions were loud and we were lucky, we didn’t have to use them. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very unique. The free champagne was a nice way to start our vacation. The outside saunas are neat and the deck is a great place to relax. Being from Florida , I’m used to air conditioning everywhere, so not having it was scary at first but the weather was perfect during the end of June.”

“This looms lime a really cute place on line, but dont expect much. The bright paint doesn't really cover the need for updates. There were no blankets on the bed or available in the room. The bath was really small and VERY outdated and all the towels in our room had stains on them. The free breakfast isnt available until 8:00. Convenient for them, but not if you need to hit the road early. I would not stay here again.”

“They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. The rooms were small, but modern and efficient. Weirdly there were only a few guests although when I tried to book it showed it almost booked up. The location is great right near...
