Trevligt hotell nära strand promenaden och med bra parkering. Om transport önskas till centrum finns buss att tillgå varje timma från hotellet.

Inte vad man förväntar sig, värsta hotellet!
Vid ankomst fick vi fel rum, hade bokat 80 kvm svit men fick ett superiorrum, när vi gick för att klaga så fanns inte vårt rum?! Vi fick stå på oss länge och då fick vi till slut ett rum, antagligen juniorsvit på ca 30 kvm, Vi godtog detta och beställde upp lite god mat med room service, rummet var helt ok med 2 balkonger och bra ac och jätteskön säng. Dag 2, frukosten var otroligt dålig, cornflakes och branflakes, ingen musli, 2 intorkade slags ostar och nån gurkbit. Kaffet ok! Som tillval fick man välja på olika omeletter, min väns omelett var kall och alldeles för stark Jag tog en croissant med ost, den var också kall och osten hade inte smält, gick inte att äta, På kvällen när vi återvänder så hade vi inte fått städat under dagen, vi bad om nya handdukar och tvål i receptionen av den nonchalanta herren som stod och hängde över sin telefon. Vi fick handdukar, ingen tvål. Dag 3 var frukosten ännu värre, brödet var stenhårt och hade troligen legat sen dagen före, de kallade det för scones och påstod att det skulle vara så.. Idag bara en slags ost som var snustorr. På kvällen när vi kom tillbaka så hade rumsnyckeln slutat fungera,. Dag 4 tog vi gratis shuttle klockan 9 till Waterfront och sa till chauffören att vi ska åka 10,15 tillbaka igen, bara det att den inte kom. Så 10,30 försökte vi ringa till hotellet utan svar. Den enda som försökte rädda situationen var gentlemannen i receptionen på förmiddagen. Tack! Hotellet borde definitivt inte få kallas "blu"!

10 av 10!
Vi hade 6 stycken fantastiska dagar på detta hotell! Professionell och vänlig personal, fina lokaler, god frukostbuffe och gratis shuttlebuss till Waterfront en gång i timmen vilket vi tyckte var mycket bra. Vi bodde i ett business room som hade viss balkongutsikt över havet och Signal Hill och i vårt rumspris ingick lån av morgonrock, gratis toalettartiklar samt espressomaskin. Var även riktigt bra att man kunde köpa vattenflaskor i receptionen! Vi kände oss riktigt bortskämda och uppassade och känner oss supernöjda med vistelsen!!

Excellent service
The service was excellent and the personnel were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, the room was quite big and the bed very comfortable. However, we didn't get the room we booked and missed out on the balcony with a view.

Storslaget och bekvämt men turistigt område
Det här är ett riktigt trevligt och ståtligt hotell som erbjuder dig det mesta du vill ha. De öppnar dörrar, bär väskor, bäddar och bäddar upp sängen för dig och serverar ost och kex när du kommer ner i lobbyn. Det finns även en gratis transport som du kan boka eller använda efter schemat bilarna följer. Jag kände mig trygg, bortskämd och omhändertagen. Gäster ska dock veta att hotellet inte är nybyggt och det ligger i ett väldigt turistigt område som till större delen består av hotell.

Unfortunately, a bad experience. Our hotel room was in an unacceptable condition. Various issues including the closet doors, poor AC, drawers coming off, etc, etc. I was told that the hotel was going through remodeling. They offered a refund which they never did after two months of following up with them. Enough said. : (

Tru Blu!
Top notch service all around- front desk, restaurant and house keeping. Employees had team chemistry and it showed. A lot of the reviews which refer to the facilities being dated are unfairly harsh. The hotel is as good as they get in say Europe and has an excelent location close to the beach front and V&A.

House keeping is very lacking in standards! Didn’t clean my room properly leaving used cup on the table, not replacing new bath gel, removing our toothbrushes from the glass leaving them on the vanity top and lastly my nightmare..removing my face wash packet! The hotel manager in charge helped finally bringing me a replacement but it took more than an hour to sort I’m out as there was no housekeeping manager on duty! Having to check on at 5am didn’t help matter and I needed to have an early night!! I was totally aghast by the rubbish Housekeeping standard of service!!

Not bad, but could've been better.
We stayed at Radisson Blu Le Vendrome for our trip down for the Cape Town Cycle Tour. The location was perfect. Unfortunately everything else at the hotel seemed less than perfect. The hotel is old and shows with wall paper peeling in areas. The aircon works at first but then decides to blow at any temperature it decides on. My wife and I were bitten badly by ticks. We did ask for clean sheets on the bed, but continued to get bites each night we slept. The morning breakfast spread was great. Service was even better in the breakfast area, with very attentive service staff. Room service was very slow. The food and drinks that arrived were great, no issues - just a timely process to get room service delivered. Overall it wasn't bad, but could definitely have been better for a premium hotel.

Work in progress
The hotel should be described as a work in progress. Many rooms are generally in need of updating, which appears to be happening, judging by the noise from the top floors. The staff are great, if somewhat down in numbers and the duty manager, Sadeek, went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. In a few years time this hotel should be firing on all cylinders.

Seapoint is a nice area
Air-condition not working in our room. Reported it twice, but nothing was done, nor reported back. Lots of seagull outside our room that made a lot of noise, so impossible to keep the door or windows open at night. The breakfast could have more options in spread, or more employees fill up when empty.

Property lacked maintenance. Broken drawers, cupboard has no doors, toilet seat loose. Hotel admin atrocious- messed up booking in every possible way. Staff friendly but never follow through on promises. Hotel transfer did not arrive to collect me from airport. Definitely never again!!!

Good location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is currently being refurbished which it needs. Shuttle bus on the hour into waterfront. Great location if you like walks along the seafront. Beds extremely comfortable. Housekeeping very good.

Das Hotel hätte Moewennest heißen sollen. Rund um die Uhr Geschrei der Möwen,die unterhalb der Fenster auf dem Vordach des Hotels nisteten.Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Das Frühstück war ungenügend, es fehlte stets etwas, entweder dasToastbrot, Besteck, Kaese, Butter.Staendig war man auf der Suche. Obstauswahl war gut.Das Personal stets gut gelaunt und unbeeindruckt von den Widrigkeiten. Ich kann von einem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel nur abraten.

Good location. Room with several problems on arrival. Not serviced properly so time wasted to address faults. Have stayed twice before not penny pinching obvious now. Breakfast on day one dreadfully organised so long wait for service but better in subsequent days. New manager just appointed to sort things out, apparently. We'll see

Had a lovely stay. Management however need to do something about the seagulls nesting on top of the portico and outside our room.....become really noisy and are disturbing.

Muy buen hotel. Solo faltaría modernizar algunas áreas como los baños por ejemplo. La habitación que nos toco no tenía aire. Tenía un ventilador de pie. Lo cual no me parece acorde al nivel del hotel. El resto todo muy bueno

Absolutely Terrible!
This was the most terrible stay I have encountered since I started using Hotels.com. As soon as we arrived at the hotel a man came down complaining about lack of soap and how he had called with no response, we thought that is just an oversight. We proceeded to be checked into the room, initially we were told to go to room 715 which was supposed to be with sea view, but we were told last minute that it was not up to scratch and we were to be taken to room 425 with partial sea views! We agreed to that as we were tired. As soon as we got to the room, we requested a bath waste (stopper) of which they said it’s coming, nothing came the whole night. We proceeded to request that a technician come fix the TV, no one came for our during of stay. We didn’t have a working TV or bath. We asked the cleaning lady to come after 5 minutes and when she came back she was very rude we ended up telling her not to clean. We had to go downstairs multiple times to report this and it seems no one was bothered and this is how they normally operate. Terrible or rather no hospitality at all. Worst stay of my life. Does not deserve to be a 4 star! Should be no more than one star!

first time here
lovely hotel in the very safe sea point area of cape town wonderful staff throughout the hotel good wifi spacious room only downside being the hotel interior is a bit dated but everything else is spot on..
