There are steps to access the beach right in front of unit and you can hear the waves crashing at night. Beach is very walkable and walk to town is about ten minutes and is a very nice town. “In spite of heavy rain (atmospheric river) twice during stay, earthquakes close by and tornado warnings for San Diego (which never materialized) we had a wonderful three weeks in Carlsbad. The condo was so very comfortable, very clean and location was excellent. Quick walk to the fantastic beach was definitely a plus. After a day of being out we always loved coming back to the serenity of the complex. Checkin was uneventful and it was definitely a plus to have parking so close and be on ground...

“We have stayed at a number of different places in Carlsbad and this is a prime location. Right on Carlsbad Blvd close to The Village. Walking distance to everywhere, right in front of a crosswalk and stairs down to the beach!”

“The property is cute and had a nice location. Communication was great with the management and they were very responsive. The air conditioning and TV worked perfectly. There was a odor that we think came from the carpet and the overall cleanliness wasn't perfect with visible stains on the furniture. Walls and paint need corrections/cleaning and simple fixable things like rusted toilet paper holders should be replaced.”

“We stayed for a week, and visited the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Balboa Park museums, etc. The Carlsbad location is very convenient for these. The unit was very quiet, with the sounds of the surf a pleasant background. The deck is very spacious, and has a wonderful sunset view over the ocean. We were quite pleased with our stay.”

“Very comfortable for our group of 8. Plenty of room for privacy and also gathering as a group. Excellent location near beach and restaurants. BUT since our family cooked each night there was not enough dishes (only 8) really needed 20, and better pots & pans would be appreciated. NO dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel or other normal items found in B & B provided. Only blocks from train that ran until 1 and then started at 6 in morning. None the less we would rent again.”
