“The location couldn’t be beat. Walk out the door and you’re in the middle of colonial Williamsburg. The room while sufficient did not feel very private. You could hear every door close and person walking on the stairs. Parking was easy. I will definitely go back but probably pick a different style room.”

“Vackert designade byggnader. Fint nyrenoverat rum, tyst luftkonditionering dom man lätt kunde ha på nattetid, tre olika pooler och shuttle till stadskärnan. Det enda tråkiga var att vi inte gick rummet vi hade bokat, utan ett enklare. Detta kompenserade hotellet genom att ge oss valfri tillgodo såsom parkering/ frukost eller i vårt fall presentkort i hotellets affär. Detta debiterades tyvärr vårt resesällskaps rum. ”

“This is a fabulous little hotel for families, we’ve been coming here for years and always return. Our children love the pool and splash pad, mini golf, and little playground. Colonial Williamsburg is accessible from the parking lot, it’s so fun to walk around without needing our car for the day. Convenient to Busch Gardens as well. This hotel is nostalgic and simple, we have wonderful family memories here and will choose Woodlands every time we are in Williamsburg. ”

“If you're just staying a few nights, this place is sufficient for the price. Bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom needed some repairs - the ceiling was falling apart and the room could use a good deep clean. The pool wasn't open yet, so we weren't able to use it. Overall, for the price it was okay. If we just need to stay one night, we will probably stay here again. Workers were nice, breakfast had a nice variety (yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, juices)....

“Our stay was comfortable with the hotel being very clean and bright. The breakfast offered plenty of options and the food was hot. I do wish that the coffee was inside the breakfast area instead of having to walk to the lobby each time for refills. Unfortunately the outside dining was a small area facing the parking lot- so not enticing to eat outside. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. “Clean room”

“This is a very basic stay. Room was relatively clean; however, there was no hot or warm water - staff never told us upon check-in even though we found out a pipe burst a few days prior and it hadn't been repaired. Curtains didn't open or close, air system was difficult to adjust, and the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything outside your door. Prior to booking or staying, I recommend asking when the room was previously stayed in and whether there are any issues.”

“Warning this property is not pet friendly. I booked it because it was advertised as such and spent an hour on the phone with Expedia after my arrival only to be locked out of my hotel rooms and have to drive 3.5 hours back home the same night. ”
